Pitt seems to get in his head. Needs to get over that shit cause inevitably we'll see them again.

Hopefully not until the AFC champ game tho

I'm no expert on coverages thrown at us each game, but it seems like it is the Dick Labeau affect. They seem to have continued on w/o him in confusing the pre-snap looks and mismatches for Alex. He's thinking too much, and getting outguessed often. Same when he played against the Titans. Even the NYG over the years have confused him.

PMII's performance this preseason should wake up everyone. The kid has legitimate arm talent that will make his money hitting the mark with such passes.

I do think we need a dog or two on defense. Someone that toes the line of dirty a bit.

Couldnt agree more, we've all been calling for it for years... this team always seems to be the 'nice guys' that lets other teams get away with that kinda shit

We had Shaun Smith for a short while, but thats been it... everyone else has been content to get punked and just hope for a measly flag

Let em stay sleep and blind. It is very frustrating. Their only comeback is that he is a rookie. So ****ing what. Alex misses passes that ROOKIES are hitting.

I would expect this fan base to freak out. Look at what they do when Kelce or Peters show any emotion.

Haha "they can take their emotions off my team!!!!

"How dare they do this to my team I've been covering for 25 years!"

So true man

Nothing wrong with showing emotion.. Kelce Getting dumb penalties is what pisses fans off. Peters has a history of these sort of losing his cool. He got kicked off his college team for this type of crap. That is why people get concerned.. No one said cut or trade either of these players.

I'm fine with what they do as long as they don't do it consistently. If they start doing it every week then it is a problem and I am sure Reid would agree with me.

You're right, but the thing with them is, when they act out its only our team that gets hurt... I want to see us go after cheap shot artists like professional hitmen

Its been such an infuriating aspect of this team for about as long as I can remember, and its the same from regime to regime... we seem to enjoy being bullied and smacked around

Teams that play prison ball with us usually win

I truly thought Mahomes wouldn't play as well as he did, and Alex would start next year. PMII will be prepared to next season with out issue compared to Alex's aversion to take control and lean on the defense to win games.

Eleazar 10-17-2017 09:54 AM

What's the point of even arguing about this?

This team is going nowhere this year with the Andy & Alex combo, and glaring needs on both sides of the ball.

Smith is gone after this year.

The team will require multiple offseasons to beef up the roster to contender status, while Mahomes matures.

Why waste so much time arguing about the shortcomings of this etch-a-sketch of a season?

can't have it both ways. When Kelce doesn't allow himself to be punked, then it's an issue. When he does, oh, we are too soft. pffft.

Etch a sketch? We are apparently good enough to be 5-1 with a mediocre QB who we all know won't be here next year. It's bullshit to waste another year of our window with a QB you KNOW is going to fold in the playoffs. This fan base pisses me the **** off. So ****ing scared of something different. "Oh, he's a rookie" What have you seen from Mahomes to lead you to believe he is not mature? He didn't even throw a pick in preseason. His play was outstanding and exciting. This is total bullshit. What a ****ing waste of time. I saw poise, moxie, killer instinct, arm talent and a rare consistent ability to keep his eyes downfield while escaping pressure. IDGAF if it was preseason. You either HAVE IT or you ****ING DON'T. How did sitting behind Alex for 5 years help Bray? He ****ing doesn't have it!!!!! Get a clue!!

The Franchise 10-17-2017 10:08 AM

We will obviously have some holes to fill next year but it's not like it will be a complete ****ing rebuild. The offensive will pretty much be set with Mahomes at QB. We should always be retooling the defense though.
