But could LeBron?

@ByTimReynolds: Here we go, folks. There's more than Granger and McRoberts, too.

penbrook 07-07-2014 01:50 PM

LeBron James and Danny Granger play the same position, do the math.

dirk digler 07-07-2014 01:51 PM

Granger is pretty much done IMO. He was horrible with the Clippers. I guess Lewis will be gone

Using what money? Any more money they use will cut into LeBrons, Bosh's, or Wades salaries.

They're not all signing for the max.

McRob = MLE
Granger = LLE

Norris Cole trade gets another guy for ~$2.2M

Granger is filling the Rashard Lewis/James Jones spot on the bench. Nothing more, nothing less.

Besides the Heat have this young guy that was stashed over in Australia this past season - James Ennis. Tore up the Australian league and so far doing the same in the Summer League. He is that 8-9 guy off the bench with some youth that Miami is looking for.

Expect Ennis, Hamilton, and Napier to all make the roster this year.

And expect them to lose to the Spurs again this year too.
