Turns out, not too good. Just a terrible plan and roster construction for the receiving group which has their most two recent high draft pick receiving targets being non factors for a large chunk of time.

Yeah, entering the season with Mack ****ing Hollins as their top legitimate outside WR didn’t work out too well.

They tried to do what the Chiefs did with their WR room. They actually did the right thing. The problem is that you have to nail the talent evaluations when you turn over a position group. You can't draft Keon Coleman's or it's not gonna work.

Guys....I mean....they were right there in the 4th quarter of the AFC champ game. I'd say it worked out fine.

They just have to beat Michael Jordan and most people don't do that.

Yeah, and if they had not overspent money and draft capital for slot guys on offense, they might have a difference maker to push them over the edge…

Or you know… just drafted Worthy. Although idk if their coaching staff would have gotten what Reid has in his rookie year.

That’s what separates 90’s Chiefs teams from Super Bowl winners.

In crunch time, the Bills needed a receiver to step up, just like we needed Lin Elliott and Elvis Grbac to do for us, but we’re all too familiar with how that story ends.

Honesty, the big difference from the 2024 Bills and the 2023 Chiefs to me was Spags. When our offense was kept out of the endzone for over four straight quarters in the 2023 postseason, our defense was so damn good that they kept us in the game. The Bills FO and coaching staff, while “good,” just doesn’t isn’t elite enough to make up for roster deficiencies like what we saw last week. Allen will always give them a chance, but they can’t keep walking away with Kincaid, Elam, and Coleman for their first picks of the draft and they have to find an elite coordinator on either side of the ball. I think Daboll actually fit the bill there, but unfortunately, the year they were primed to go all the way, they ran into 13 seconds, and perhaps the greatest game of Mahomes’ career.

Who unironically would have been their best downfield route runner and *likely* would have been a major benefactor of Allen’s deep ball in Buffalo’s offense.

They keep getting Round 1 wrong and ultimately it’s a major difference maker in January.

They almost didn't make it past the Ravens though, who did everything possible to lose that game, yet never had to punt. And then they were down 11 at halftime to the Chiefs while being gifted a turnover, or else it may have gotten out of hand.

Allen should be able to drag that team to the AFCCG (or at least to their annual loss to the Chiefs), but then you're up against Goliath with a QB who isn't Patrick Mahomes and a coach who isn't Andy Reid, so any weaknesses will be glaring in the playoffs.

I will give Buffalo credit because this was supposed to be a down year and rebuilding year, yet they came within 3:33 of possibly going to the SB.

That's exactly 200 more seconds than their last playoff trip to Arrowhead.

Not me, because of how they are acting now. Im glad they got their souls ripped out by KC again. Their fans deserve every bit of it. F-Them!

Sure, they didn't win a SB. Ultimate goal for them for sure.

But it's hard to me to call an AFC champ game loss to Mahomes and company a "let down".

In a vacuum you're correct. If this was their 1st loss to the Chiefs, you could spin it that way. "Oh well, we just ran into the champs, still a great year."

But it's the 4th. Now you think on a fundamental level "what more do we have to do to beat these guys?"

LMAO

Yea, losing their 4th straight playoff game to the Chiefs wasn't a "let down". You can be such a reerun.

Their fans are still saying Allen is better than Mahomes even though he has failed to get points two years in a row when presented with a chance to knock off the Chiefs.

If Pat is what we all think he is, yeah, they're just gonna lose to him in the playoffs. Just the way it's gonna be.

I think it's actually the other way around... if Allen is the quarterback THEY think he is, he'd get his every once in a while.

Manning got his a few times against Brady and no QB is 100% unbeatable. The Chiefs settled for the FG in the AFCCG and the Bills also had the ball up 1 earlier in the game, much less other playoff games.
