Mahomes didn't scout and he definitely didn't make the selection. And really, the text they said asking him who he'd pick wasn't even asking for his input. It was a "Oh neat, cool, our star QB will like this pick" thing. Mahomes is not our GM, but he is the franchise, and they shouldn't shy away from letting him take on (reasonable) leadership opportunities that don't go beyond making decisions. All they're doing here is asking him to report on the guys that are under contract in the offseason work. That's it. |
