His best seasons were with the Eagles/Kelly...18 TD/15 INTs. You arent going to win championships with a 50/50 split. He's an 8-8 QB in Denver...and that's only because of the defense.

Elway knows it too...it's why he was so desperate to find a QB.

Our QB's combined for 19 TD's and 23 INT's last year.

And Denver almost missed even being in the playoffs...it took every conceivable lucky bounce and a fortuitous schedule. All the home games were against top teams. They have a #1 schedule with Sanchez this season...

You'd have to be a completely clueless homer not to realize it...oh wait. To bank on having a freak occurrence become the norm, yeah...enjoy Sanchez.

Thus far. Amazing what can happen when you get away from Rex "hot foot QB-killer" Ryan, ain't it?

But you can win them with a 66.5 QBR, amirite?

We shall see....

Elway has a good stall of horsies, he'll be fine. And if he's not, he'll keep moving rocky mountains until he gets his boo. Is what it is.

I'm not sure, in what world, is having Sanchez as your only experienced starter...a "good situation".

Better than overpaying for known SF trash. Good on him.

Cant disagree there...it's like choosing a fall down the stairs over lighting yourself on fire.

You better hope that o-line shores up....if Sanchez gets hurt, Denver is picking top 10.

From Manning/Osweiler to Sanchez/Trevor Siemian ...yikes. Semian hasn't even thrown a NFL pass.

Who cares what happens to Denver? I'm speaking in generalities.

In any event, what makes Sanchez a lesser to Osweiler? Or Lynch a lesser to Oz?

Neither are.

And I'm sure, given enough time, Oz would have lost more games for them. But on that team, you don't have to have Manning the prime years to compete.

Well for one...Lynch has never taken a snap from center....ever. He's used to standing back there and looking at the defense. Good luck learning that at NFL speed...with complicated defensive schemes. The knock on him is he isn't very good at reading defenses as is...nor is he incredibly bright.

Two...last season, Brock's td/int ratio was 10-6...Sanchez was 4-4.

If you dont think INTs turn football games...well.

Did Snatchz have Denver's personnel last year?

You mean a shitty o-line and pedestrian running game? How many passes did Thomas drop?

The one good thing Denver did was draft that RB.....

Expecting Sanchez to be anything other than what he already is.....wishful. Especially in his first year in a new system...

People in Denver think..because of how last season played out...that another 19TD/23 INT QB is no big deal. They dont have Manning checking into proper plays now...watch the end of the Chargers game and tell me that isnt important...or how he exploited Flemming on the final drive.

Definitely !!

What justified O'brien giving Brock so much $$ when Brock got benched because he couldn't move the chains when it counted ?? 7 game starter and no real production yet given millions to be a starter. Granted Kelly screwed up the QB market giving Bradford millions which helped Brock but still what justified the Texans interest in Brock when he couldn't produce when it really counted ? What makes Obrien think Brock will be any different in Houston ?? Brock didn't even "flash" in Denver to justify his signing.

Enough flash I suppose.

Denver was an 8-8 team gifted multiple games at the end...let's not pretend they were something different last year. They don't get those calls with out Fivehead on the sidelines.
