I think the Rams draft a LT.

You're hitting on all cylindars tonight. I may forgive that Gretchen Wilson post if this keeps up.

Really? I should quit while I'm ahead. I'll end up saying something completely stupid.

I think the Rams should draft a LT.

But nothing would surprise me with Devaney running the show.

I have no doubts that if Stafford is the highest rated player on his board, he'll take him at #2, then sit him for a year (or two) until Bulger's cap hit becomes a bit more manageable to absorb. And with Stafford only being 20 years old, it's not a bad play at all.

Right now, FWIW, the fans seem split between a QB and a LT.

No he isn't. He's being franchised. They have to keep him due to reports Brady may need another surgery and may miss 2009 as well.

Yes, and if Brady is ready to go, he'll be traded. The only reason they'd franchise him is so they can get something for him. They couldn't have the money to pay a top 5 QB salary and whatever Brady will end up costing them.

AS I asked before, can they trade him next year if they franchise him? Or would they have to wait a year?

Sorry I read Pat's news and he is going to be franchised and will get the salary too. He will not be traded until after 2009, if they do, after a firm assessment of Brady's condition and successful return.
