It’s not about Deebo’s skill set. They just aren’t going to turn around a trade a bunch of picks to give a WR top dollar. Doesn’t matter whether it’s Deebo, Brown, McLaurin, Metcalf, or whoever.

They’re clearly intent on retooling through the draft.

Or seeing what they can get from the draft and then evaluating from there.

It’s awfully close to the draft though….if they can’t extend him, they better get what they can and move on.

They'd take Debo in a heart beat if 1) the acquisition cost was low, and 2) he'd be on a rookie/reasonable contract.

This has little to do with his skillset.
