Imagine if all the people yesterday who wore black (and therefore implicitly approve of the SOC movement) left en masse. That's a staggering amount of people leaving, and now there'd be even more empty seats. It'd be great to do it immediately following the national anthem, so as to eliminate any confusion as to our point.

And you'd leave only the True Fans sitting there which would look bad for the movement. The best thing about yesterday was the fact that in the 4th QTR.....it was the SOC followers who were still there.

Probably a repost by now, but nfl.com made mention of the blackout in their obit article...

Has anyone from SoC started thinking about organizing a field trip to NYC in April 2013? I would say at this point it seems likely that Pioli will be shitcanned, but it wouldn't shock me in the least if he is given an extension (or Clark makes good on the extension that's already been signed in secret). Radio City is only about 6,000 at capacity so it might be hard to get a lion-share of the tickets, but the other side of that coin is with such a small crowd, you have a better chance at standing out.

I would love to see the ESPN or NFLN broadcasts when Goodell gets up there for the #1 pick and Pioli doesn't select a QB. A Radio City packed full of Chiefs fans going ballistic and calling for Pioli's head would be pretty priceless.

And if he is fired/Chiefs take a QB in the first, that would be a pretty sweet payoff to be there live and finally have something to cheer for.

I agree that it would look bad. It looked much better yesterday when the red left and the black largely stayed until the end.

I just called the Chiefs' ticket office and said Fire Pioli or i won't renew my tickets. I hung up after that. They keep calling me from unavailable.....

This stirred my interest.

I think we need to take up a collection and send the leaders of SOC to the draft, so they can bath in the sweet rays of light when the Chiefs do what they whould have done years and years ago.

Which sent a very nice and important message all itself.

CBS News picked up the AP story about what happened yesterday:

Screw that. We've already called for his head. If it doesn't happen then it's over, and I can't imagine any Chiefs fan wanting to subject themselves to attending one of his drafts in-person. I won't give a rat's ass what happens with Crennel or who we draft or sign.

SOC really should mail all of the Pioli fail facts to the owners of all 31 other teams, just to eff-up Pioli's chances at future employment.

That was absolutely what yesterday was about as it should have been. The SOC stayed while the RED fans left.

I'm glad other people noticed that. I didn't want to bring it up. I don't consider myself to be a vindictive person but it sure felt good looking around as those final seconds ticked off and seeing about 90% black shirts left in the crowd. After hearing all that crap from the "true fans" all week about wearing red, it was a cool thing to see that the true fans were in black.

I have heard Keitzman and the guys on 610 all mention this. Looks like just about everyone noticed it.

007 11-19-2012 02:51 PM

Josh on 610 is a damned idiot. Still keeps saying not showing up says more than what we did yesterday. The other guys are trying very hard to show him the light of this movement.

Inspector 11-19-2012 03:15 PM

The SOC folks are the true fans. They want to see their team get better. They want to rid their team of the trash.

The "Deb's" who disagree with SOC simply want to eat BBQ outside and have something to do on Sundays. Whatever team is out there is cool with them if they have an arrowhead on their helmet. They could not care care less how good the product is.

Congrats SOC. You are demonstrating to the "other" Chiefs "fans", as well as the rest or the country what a real True Fan is.

Oustanding!!
