The best part of that interview is what she said about Veach.
That dude is such a dog. Chatting her up as a sophomore in college. Dude has a great eye for talent! |
I thought it was interesting the way Caitlin would throw lots of questions back at the kelces. shows how much media polish she has. I came to a realization about the Kelce podcast and Clark... I think the reason these guys have blown up in popularity (way before Taylor swift) is theyre so damn Midwest. They have a really enthusiastically positive personality. They're not there witrh the usual WWE like trash talk. You can just tell the kelces for all their competitive fire are warm and welcoming to everyone. I don't think Travis has sincerely ever had a mean thing to say about a teammate and that's not just good media coaching

I also think that so many people in the space are just obsessed with hot takes to get the attention they crave. I worked in that space (political blogging) its easy to get national attention if you want it. I'm a Republican, and if I wanted some national attention just go blow up another Republican candidate ant the media will find you. Its like a drug. You get addicted to the attention, you want more, so you get more and more aggressive with your takes. For example, I blew up Newt Gingrich over his Tiffany's debt stuff that came out while he was running for president. I wrote some smart ass shit the got picked up and passed around. Then the Today Show calls and wants me on. Awesome. I mean nothing would be more gratifying for my Mom to see her son on the Today show. They schedule my flight, book a room etc, then the Oklahoma tornadoes hit and I get bumped. I was bummed, but frankly glad that it happened. Before the 2012 election, a NY Times reporter called me while I was driving somewhere for a campaign trip or something. It was a long drive so what the hell I talk to the dude. His question was something like, if Romney loses to Obama, will Paul Ryan be the heir apparent. I hate questions like that, but I'm driving, and I love to try and shoot these east coast reporters straight, so I say, "Well, he would have to wash the stench of Romney off of him first." Funny line. I meant every word because it was true, but I shouldn't have said it. The following Sunday night I'm home with my wife and I get a text from another NY Times Reporter. "Nice quote." Then my stomach started to turn. WTF did I say? So I read the article. I ****ing said it, so I can't bitch. And the "Stench of Romney" quote blows up. "Stench" was the number one search term on google before the Vice Presidential debate. Again, great if you want attention, maybe not so great when you work in politics. Back to the Kelce's, its just refreshing to listen to them interview people like Clark , Bill Murray, or whoever and know that there is not some angle they are trying to exploit to make news or just get attention. The Clark interview was fun, enjoyable, and its just cool to get a glimpse of who people are. I think most people are just interested in getting to know stuff about other people. I don't need the controversy to care. Just let people in and have some fun. I like the Kelce podcast for that reason, and I watch too many Bryson Deshambeu videos too for the same reason. |

It’s hilarious that anyone who isn’t rooting for her opponent can hate Caitlin clark. She is the women’s sports version of Patrick Mahomes. Works hard, good at her game, and is as classy and well spoken as you can ask for.

They should have those two go to halfcourt and eat each other's boxes for halftime entertainment. Focus the camera on Sophia and blur Caitlin a bit. I bet they'd get at least 1000 more viewers. Which would what...double their current audience?
