I've been saying for weeks this isn't the same ol' Chiefs along with a few others. This team is well rounded and can beat anyone.

was ****ing awesome! |

Chiefs made a few awesome stops when they were desperately needed... but that overall run D can be scary bad. Must get that fixed.

Per Sean Keeler
Asked Hali what changed after Wk 1 for the #Chiefs. Said it was a new team, new players, & it all finally galvanized in DEN. #Broncos |
we lost time of possession
we lost passing yards we lost rushing yards we lost turnover battle we win the game ROFL |

I said it earlier, if we won it would be a statistic anomaly. Vermiel's head probably exploded. |
Don't care how - we won.
Head still exploding.... |

Still dominated the game. They had far too many empty drives and couldn't stop our offense for shit prior to about the 6 minute mark in the 4th quarter. |

Game was won when Unger went out. It ****ed Seattle's offense up big time.
|
3 4th down stops in the 4th quarter. That is nails!

Kinda like when I told people in August that if the Royals ever got in the playoffs they could win the whole thing. |

Totally agree. |
I love Alex Smith all over again...don't care about his stats. He's so ****ing perfect for this offense...

On Poe's sack, I watched on the replay and he beat the right guard. Just blew by him like a 747 with afterburners. |

I'm all about celebrating each win and drinking the glass half full. .. just saying though... still a bit concerned about the run D and the absence of Mays. |

The Defense can buckle down when they need too. 20-20 who cares. its about not letting them score 7 on the ground, Chiefs didnt. |
Just got back home from my first ever NFL game. What a freaking game it was.
People are saying Arrowhead wasn't loud.. the first 3 quarters didn't seem very loud to me, but the fans really stepped it up in the 4th, which directly caused the delay of game IMO. I didn't even realize Moeaki scored that TD on us at the time, I joked before the game which some friends that it'd happen and knowing him, he'll probably get injured during practice this week and never see the field again. I want to say it's simply a Chiefs thing that a TE that they cut would come back and score on them in his first game back, but this win was not a "Chiefs thing". We lost TOP, we lost in total yards, we lost in turnovers.. and we still won the game. That is against the traditional Chiefs stereotype, this team is just different. Also, "Beast Mode" is the most uncreative nickname ever and any Seahawk fan that yells it a million times during a game should hate their life. Edit: Also the win was amazingly fun, but in all of this we shouldn't forget how bad those refs were. We got completely screwed on some of those spots. |

The team who matches up the best against us is Indianapolis. Their running game sucks, so they won't even bother trying to rush it in. I really hope we don't meet them in the playoffs. |

Didn't they throw it like, 17 times?
|
It was windy and 10 degrees out.
No team is going to chuck it in those conditions. |

A 6.8 avg does not suck and we averaged slightly less on the ground, which is profoundly safer, chews the clock and wears down the opposing D. Russell's 20/32, 178 yds (cough, cough) earned him jack shit. |
Did anybody else get goosebumps seeing Poe in the FB position? Something gave me the chills, I expect destruction everytime. It didn't work out on that drive, but I love it when he plays offense.
|
I'm not a fan.
It's "cool", I suppose, but unnecessary. We've got one of if not the best FB in the league. |

Feels good to beat Seattle and their annoying fanbase. I never remember seeing Seahawks fans going to games at arrowhead back in the day when they came to town. Now you see a smattering of them in the crowd. ****ing bandwagon douches!

If they don't rush the ball, they're playing into our hands. We have the best pass defense in the NFL. |

Watched this again and I'm very impressed with DE Jaye Howard. He had multiple critical plays, such as the 4th and 1 stop on Lynch.
This guy is really starting to develop. He showed some major promise in the SD game last year in week 17, but it appears he's gotten his technique and strength down. He's got 1 sack, 1 QB hit, 8 QB pressures and 11 stops. Not a bad option to have as a young rotating DL that is cheap. Best part? Dorsey snagged him from Seattle. |
