Carcosa, expert College tape analyzer strikes again. When are all you GM wannabes going to shut the **** up and learn to just defer to carcosa? |

If it came down to Brown or Jones, who do you keep?

Brown. 4th best player on the OL That is a pretty easy answer for me. Jones. |

Without knowing the dollar figures for both and potential trade return, it’s impossible to say. |

It simply doesn't come down to that. OBJ, if/when he costs us guys, will cost us the ability to retain someone like Sneed and/or Bolton. Or we may have to move on from Thuney. And while Thuney is better at playing G than Jones is, he's also just a guard. We've found adequate G play from several different sources including the waiver wire. It's just not a valid question. |
oh ok, sure thing DJ...of course there are variables
I could see your response coming from a mile a way |

I guess you're fortunate for not having been saddled with such a burden. |
it was just a question dude fgs...no reason to be insulting

Jones is the 2nd best (maybe even best) DT in the league. He's a leader on the team, wants to win SB rings, and is the centerpiece of our defense. Brown is middle of the pack at LT and last year wanted to be paid top 3 LT money, and probably isn't gonna budge from that price point either. I don't care if it's LT, i would never pay Brown if it meant having to trade Jones. |
