ADDENDUM:

Think of it this way:

If Sanchez comes to KC, he's the Brandon Flowers of the 2009 Draft.

Chiefs Pantalones 01-04-2009 10:08 PM

Oh please God give us Sanchez or Stafford!

Sweet Daddy Hate 01-04-2009 10:12 PM

FURTHER ADDENDUM:

You will actually enjoy watching a Chiefs Quarterback take a snap and play, as opposed to worrying all the time and developing an ulcer.

That's the long and short of it.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Actually, I intended it seriously, with a little over-the-top optimism 'cause I could really see all this coming together.

What does your software thing say? What are the %?

But of the three, he has the most composure and a pocket presense the other two can't match at this point.

He's highly accurate, has a fairly strong arm, and maintains his accuracy even while on the run.

But the most impressive thing is how he stands in the pocket and delivers strikes in the face of pressure.

Also his ability to read opposing defenses is pretty good for a college kid. He tore apart Ohio State earlier this year, also on national TV. Seems to play is best in big games. He reminds me more of Carson Palmer than Matt Leinart.

And they feel the same way about cities like Green Bay and Nashville too.

As long as they play their asses off during the season I could care less where they go in the offseason.

The same could be said for places like Indianapolis and Pittsburgh as well.

The Chiefs new facilities, including new locker rooms, administrative offices, etc. are going to play a major factor in attracting future free agents.

I think the thing that most people were impressed with was Sanchez' composure.

That comes from confidence in himself, his receivers, and his line to protect him, as well as his age, relative to Stafford.

Stafford, on the other hand, doesn't have that same confidence in receivers or his line.
His receivers have made some terrible drops, though they have improved as the season progressed, and his line is made up of freshman and 2nd stringers, so his protection has broken down fairly consistently.

He's also 20 years old.

Those things will improve as he matures, and as he grows in an offense.

Sanchez is more NFL ready, but I htink they both have huge upside.

They're both outstanding investments, and we'll be assuredly blessed if they both come out.

If they don't, it could be long march through hell with T-Bitch(shudders).

You won't notice anything happening. After you press Prt Scr open paint and go to the Edit menu and select Paste.

With our success rate in developing QB's, I'll take the one who is more NFL ready.

I'm not going to let history dictate my opinion, especially now, when we are ready to start a new chapter in our history.
