Right now my current live record for Royals games is at 2-8. Before these last 2 games recently I was 0-8, losses 6-8 coming from the sweep in KC at the hands of the Astros.

I'm hot right now, 2 straight wins

It was nice for those 10, or so, games to see what it's like to have a club that can hit major league pitching. Not sure what happened, I'm pretty sure we didn't just get buzz-sawed by the league's four 2014 Cy Young pitchers (LOL!!!), but they sure did revert back to their nonscoring ways.

We got a glimpse, it was nice. It was like have the hottest stripper in the club sit down next you at the bar and rub the shaft in you jeans - but now she walked away!

As lucky as they probably got in their 10 game winning streak, it's evened out in the 4 game losing streak. I'm not going to eat their lunch, they've lost 4 one run games in a row. Shit happens. Seems to me they are still playing pretty well.

One of the losses to SEA was a two run loss, 7-5.

I'd take the thread tonight if no one else wants it. I haven't done one in over a month.

Excellent win tonight, Guthrie threw one of the best starts of the year we've had. He's been really good last few weeks as Shields has struggled, looked like a playoff performance attacking every hitter with heat on both corners.

Still wish we'd have moved to the NL. These teams are dogshit

It's always nice to beat Magic's LAids Dodgers. And death to Greinke.

I can get behind the fire in this post!!!

I don't get the hate for Greinke. We got Esky and Cain for him, and piece of the trade got us Shields and Davis. I think we did all right.

He admitted himself that he went overboard in his pushing to get traded and came off as a jerk. Can't say I blame him though but he didn't have to go the dick route.

It's odd that so many hate Grienke but at the same time want to have Tony Gonzalez's love child. They both did the same thing.

Yeah, not many will agree, but a forward thinking GM would attempt to extend Hosmer right now.

Demonpenz 06-24-2014 12:34 AM

Not a bad thought. I was thinking an upgrade would be nice.

No they didn't. Gonzales was a true pro who always gave 100% effort on the field. Greinke didn't.

That's the difference.

Sorry, I don't think rewarding his lack of production with the largest contract in the history of the franchise is the way to go.
