Reese hurt her wrist and is out for the year?
Ensuring she won't win the ROTY award for that reason alone, yeah? Can you see the narrative coming? |
Since Reese got hurt, Sky are 2-0.

Not creating shit.
I just see that narrative likely upcoming from some of these Reese sycophants. “Yeah, of course CC won, Reese was injured”. |
This phenom has earned rookie of the year and is challenging for most valuable player of the year… Pretty ****ing amazing really!
Funny how this week she dropped off of the front page of CP, when she’s been on it the entire season. Just saying! For the record, she’s an inspiration for all daughters in our country, and an amazing person. Go, Caitlin! |
Clark got beat in the last two games against the Aces. She got 16 and 18 points respectfully. And 5 and 6 turnovers to take her tally for the season up to 216. She'll be facing one of the bottom feeders next game so I'd imagine she'll put up some decent numbers again. Losing back to back against the champs isn't a surprise but they'll need to go on a run and gain some confidence before the playoffs start.
|
She broke the single season assists record tonight and still has 3 games to go. So Clark breaks the record for assists and also leads the league in assists per game, has the 8th most points per game, has the 18th most rebounds per game, has the 14th most steals per game, has the 6th highest efficiency rating, and has her team, and is responsible for taking the worst team in the league for multiple years to the playoffs!
ROTY this year and MVP every year after this. She also is responsible for all the attention the league is getting, all the money they are bringing in, and should be worshipped by all the players throughout the WNBA. |

No one cares about turnovers. I know it's the last thing you can grasp, so just give it up. |

I don't know anything about women's basketball, but I was glad to see she likes our superfan Taylor and is Chiefs friendly too. Would be cool if she hung out in the suite with Taylor at a prime time game.

Aja Wilson is Tim Duncan and that's great and the best for now. But she is no match for what Clark will become once she fine tunes her game in the off-season. There's a reason why people like you are so defensive and have pivoted from shitting on Clark to now trying to compare her to the best in the game |

And Clark will never reach Aja's level imo because Aja is a great defender aswell as a scorer. Clark ain't that. |

Clark is literally a rookie who is breaking all kinds of records. You’re comparing her to a 7 year pro at her peak. The **** you mean “never”. Nobody in their right ****ing mind would accuse mahomes of not being a winner because he couldn’t get the job done at Texas tech. Nobody in their right mind is writing off wemby because he isn’t Jordan in year 1. It’s hilarious that you’ve already written off her career upside by her college accolades and not even all the way through her rookie year. |

As for Aja Wilson. She's threatening all the record books and has a great chance to be the goat one day. It's like comparing a rookie to Mahomes. Yes the rookie may be good but one season is not enough. Aja has multiple mvp's, defensive player of the year and championships so let's put some respect on that woman's name. |

Rough night for Clark. Only eight points In a one point loss against a poor Washington team. Mitchell left the game early and when Clark doesn't have that support it can look dicey.
The silver lining is she only had three turnovers and that's how it needs to be in the playoffs now. Gonna be interesting to see her against a tough Connecticut squad in round one |

Lol Caitlin Clark won the Rookie of the Year unanimously. She also came in 4th place in the MVP vote. That seems pretty good to me. Guess no one else gave a shit about her turnovers.
|
I didn’t watch the game since… football. But if I had to guess a rookie playing with a team with zero playoff experience probably looked a little off against a very good defensive team. Including one of the better defensive guards. Imagine flexing on a rookie point guard in her very first action.
|
Very bad game from Clark last night. 2/13 from three and 4/17 overall for only eleven points. Mitchell and Boston turned up with good contributions but Clark didn't and the Fever got blown out by 24 points. Gonna be interesting to see how she does in game two. Carrington, who is an elite defender, was locking her up pretty good tbh so Clark will need to adjust.

Mj shot 7-19 in his first playoff appearance then had 7 turnovers the next game. Imagine that, the worst team last season is going to have a tougher time winning behind a rookie pg in year 1. Imagine that
|
Clark got dumped out of the playoffs last night. She put up a fight with 25 points but her poor first game put the team in a hole that they couldn't recover from.
Good first season from her though despite her breaking turnover records. It will be interesting to see what Indiana do in the offseason. |
What time does the Bayou Beast play? I want to watch Sid dominate the boards

Clark had a great year. Made the playoffs and fought a racist media and players all the way keeping her class and integity intact.

And for that we are all grateful |
Now that she's out, it would be interesting to see the TV ratings the rest of the way.

The game was on at the bar last night. I've never seen so many missed layups in my life. Seems to be a recurring theme any time I catch a WNBA game.

Had a record 2.5 million viewers in the last Clark game. The next game had 929k viewers. https://www.si.com/onsi/womens-fastb...t-01j9571ppn69 "Lewis wrote that Clark and Indiana's Game 1 of the WNBA Playoffs first round against the Sun drew 1.84 million viewers (while competing directly with the NFL). Game 2 drew a whopping 2.5 million average viewers according to SportsPro Media.com, and peaked at 3.4 million on ESPN. None of the other WNBA playoff games have come remotely close to that. Although they're still performing extremely well when compared to years past. "Sunday’s Aces-Liberty WNBA semifinal Game 1 averaged 929,000 viewers on ABC, up 27% from Game 1 of last year’s WNBA Finals between the same two teams, which aired in the same Sunday ABC timeslot (729K)," Lewis wrote. "New York’s win, which peaked with 1.2 million viewers, outdrew all four games of last year’s Finals — the most-watched of which was Game 4 at 889,000 viewers. "Viewership soared 60% over last year’s semifinal game on ABC (Liberty-Sun Game 4: 579K) to rank as the highest for the round in 22 years," Lewis added. "Later in the day, Game 1 of the Sun-Lynx series averaged 654,000 viewers on ESPN — the largest semifinal audience on cable since 2000." So while Clark's absence has been clearly felt, these metrics illustrate that the entire sport is growing. How much of that can be attributed to Clark is unknown, but the bottom line is that the WNBA is booming right now." That last sentence is pretty ****ing stupid. I'd say almost all of this viewership boom can be attributed to Clark. Shes even helping break records while not playing. No one would have watched this trash without her. |
First team all WNBA as a rookie. Is that good?

Angel Reese will never come close to sniffing anything like that. Bronny Jr > Angel Reese and he sucks. |
So Caitlin recently came out and acknowledged that the hype she has received is partly because of white privilege? Wow I know certain parts of her fanbase won't be happy with that level of honesty
