In the minors we have something brewing down in AA.I have a feeling Jac is going to be moving onto AAA very quickly. Carter Jenson should be moving on too. He's already at 252 games played in AA.

I haven’t been following, but are they getting Jac reps in the OF? My hope is that he can eventually kick Renfro to the curb. He’s probably not making his major league debut until ‘26, but a guy can dream, can’t he?

He has yet to play an inning in the OF, from what I can see.

I read somewhere that the team intended to give him outfield reps once he arrived at AAA. Keep building confidence in that swing in the interim.

It's gonna be a big ask to have Cags play RF in Kaufman Stadium.

Yeah, replacing someone with the defensive prowess of Melendez/Cahna/Renfroe is going to be HUGE!

Renfroe's defense has been a huge disappointment. He was billed as a great Defensive player with some pop in the bat. He has been far from a great defensive player, from what I've been watching the past year... In fact, i'd say he's mediocre at best in the OF.

Jac in the Kauffman outfield would make Renfroe look like LoCain.

One of the reasons Renfroe looks so rough in RF is that he isn't fast enough to cover all the real estate out there.

I think Melendez is actually fast enough to do it, and he sometimes takes excellent routes. The issue is that his routes aren't always consistent.

I don't see a reality where Caglianone could play RF in the K on a consistent basic. The guy just isn't a fast mover.

Hey I'm not the one saying he needs to come up and play RF.

I'm only making a point that Melendez/Cahna/Renfroe all suck. Why Picollo/Sherman couldn't pony up some cash for us to get a semi-decent outfielder is beyond me.

So you're taking Perez's bat out of the lineup for Fermin's?

Only when Salvy needs some rest. Fermin is going to see a whole lot of the bench when Jac is on the ML team.

Also, even though he doesn't have the speed required to play RF in Kauffman doesn't mean he can't play it on the road in a stadium that isn't so huge.

Can't catch Salvy every day. Especially later in the year. Fermin is going to have to play.
