DE-Osi
DT-Poe
DT-Jackson
DE-Tamba (Falcon)
OLB-Houston-Put him in Von Miller's position
ILB-DJ
OLB-Skov
CB-Flowers
CB-DRC
SS-Berry
FS-Lewis or some other guy

BEAST MODE

Osi is meh at this point.

You just go one gap, put Powe at NT where he belongs, Poe at DE, draft another DE. Jackson has no fit in a 43.

I like DRC and Skov. I'd also like to target J Byrd.

Margus Hunt if he made it to the third round, could be a JJ Watt type guy.

Thanks Phobia I am enjoying my 2nd Samuel Adams Octoberfest left over from the bash today. I have several Winter Lagers to back it up

If you go 4-3, we need to resign Dorsey. I think he is a beast at DT in a 4-3

OC, I actually like Chilly.

I think people's opinion on Childress is colored by his head coaching stint.

Not sure if this has been covered, but how do you guys feel about Justin Houston playing DE in the 4-3?

He sure has speed. I'll give him that. But he's played in the 3-4 in college and here in KC.

Jauron is not a terrible coach. He turned the Browns into a decent defense with complete crap to work with.

As for Houston... I don't want him to convert to a role where his primary role is to be a run stopper and a coverage guy first, a blitzer second. He needs to be in a role where he is primarily a pass rusher and I don't want him playing as an undersized speed rusher in a 4-3, nor do I want him adding weight to become more every down. Hali and Houston are elite talents right now, and both are more ideal for a 3-4. DJ belongs in a 3-4. Poe belongs in a 3-4.

This new staff is going to look like a group of Lombardi clones after suffering through the various clowns we've seen cycle through Arrowhead the last several years--Weis and RAC in coordinator roles not included.

Mother****erJones 01-04-2013 06:53 PM

Its the reality that some HCs arent good HCs but merely good coordinators. Bring on Shurmur and Chilly

I don't.

I think he's shot.

He had leg issues coming out.

Jauron is a very good coach. But he's also a strict 4-3 guy.

My last memory of Dorsey from LSU was him laying on the grass with a hammy

I agree...primarily rushing the passer.

I know. I'm really, really hoping Dorsey can talk Reid out of it. But if we're going 4-3, Jauron is a good pick.
