I'm not a huge fan of Childress. I think Shurmur is better because he has a rich history with QBs. That said... I trust Andy Reid on offense, and any OC is going to do well.

On defense... we have to get that right. Ron Rivera and Ray Horton are awesome picks. I don't want this team to move to a 4-3, as that will involve gutting our roster and I personally think it will really dramatically waste the talents of Houston, Hali, DJ, and potentially the upside of Poe. Other guys you may want to consider... What about Reggie Herring from Houston? He was de facto d-coordinator when Wade Phillips missed time. There are options out there and I would really hope it's Dorsey making this call, not Reid. I like the Reid hire but at this stage, he is NOT someone I trust with the defensive scheme.

Why not put Poe and Jackson/Dorsey at the DT positions? Can you imagine a C looking up seeing he has to block and 350 lb monster with another 300 lbs solid run stuffer right next to him?

Well first off, I don't know how well Hali and Houston go to a 43, and DJ doesn't really have a spot in it.

I'm alot bigger on Poe, Powe and Bailey at this point. You need some dlineman for a 1 gap, which is hard to find, but not impossible. You also need an ILB thumper, that isn't that hard to find.

I like the 34, but it's a personal preference.

And if you go 43, Jackson is probably gone. Dorsey might stick around, but I'm meh on him at this point.

Get Osi Umenyiora (he knows he's leaving the Giants) and DRC in here in FA, get our QB at #1, then draft Shayne Skov in round 2.
