We're not giving up the DuffMan or Ventura under any circumstance based solely on economics, it's a complete nonstarter. It's entirely possible we'd package Zimmer for him but I believe Smardjia is only signed thru next year so what does 1 year garner on the market? Not Kyle Zimmer.

Oh and I am irked by the young duds regardless whether we win 10 straight or lose 10 straight. They aren't responsible for us being in 1st - in fact they are responsible for us not being a few more games ahead.

According to BaseballdeCuba.com, Tomas hit .286 last year with 15 homers, 45 runs scored and 60 RBIs.

The website says he is "without doubt the 'slugger' of the team."

Wonder what position he will play on the Yankees?

I love Zobrist, I would be willing to give up some decent prospects even to get him if it meant we could get him for more than just this year. BUT, NO WAY the Royals will swing a deal for him. Zobrist can play RF, 3B, 2B. All positions of need, which would allow either guys to rotate off days, or what I would do, to boot Moose to the curb until Dozier gets here. But Dayton went out of his way in the offseason to obtain Aoki for RF. He signed Infante at 2B for a long term deal. And he's shown no signs whatsoever to give up on Moose, and he signed Valencia to spot him. No way Dayton's ego is going to allow him to make this move.

I don't agree on the Moose comment. He sent him to AAA. If that's not showing signs that he needs to get it together I don't know what it is. He only came back because of the injury to Valencia.

Disagree. If he thought Moose needed more growth, he would've recalled Paredes and let moose figure his shit out in AAA.

Moose needs time in AAA whether Dayton likes it or not. The only thing it could do is help at this point.

Valbuena would be a nice fit and shouldn't cost much at all. Like the versatility and LH pop.

Thanks, Mr. Idaho

He has a pulled groin - but conversely, Ned REALLY like to give away outs / play Dyson.

So what's the difference between the two players, besides the fact that one broke dick is healthy?

Historically, Aoki is a much more effective leadoff hitter.

With his cork-screw swings, poor strikezone judgement--he swung at a ball that hit him ffs--and complete lack of power, I have no idea how he's ever been more valuable than a bag of dicks.

Jarrod Dyson has a 1.7 WAR this year. How is that broke dick material?
