New York's governor just signed the MMA bill, and the UFC announced their first New York event at MSG on November 12th.

Lyoto Machida fully admitted to it, and said he did not know that one of the supplements he takes contains a banned substance. (WADA called it an "anabolic agent") It wasn't tainted, it is supposed to contain a substance that is banned by WADA/USADA.

He said he even filled out a questionnaire before the test asking him to list the supplements he's taking, and the USADA rep looked at it and was like "uhhh, this supplement here, didn't you know it contains a banned substance"? Not surprisingly, he then tested positive.

The fight card this weekend is still pretty good, but it was great by free TV standards.

Mark Hunt signed a 6-fight "multi-million" dollar contract with the UFC. He believes he will retire at the end of the contract.

So, at least $2MM. If thats what he's getting, then its at least $333K/fight

RDA will defend his title against Alvarez in July. That part isn't really surprising. What is very surprising is that it'll be on July 7. The fight won't be on TV or PPV, it'll be the headline of a fightpass card on a Thursday, the day before the TUF finale and 2 days before UFC 200.
