Okay I found some stuff on how to make a restore point, but it doesnt explain what it does.

It may or may not work,

All programs>PC help & tools>System restore

You should see a calendar, pick a date that's before you first noticed the problem and it will roll your PC back to that date. However, any programs that have been installed since the date you choose will be removed. It is fully reversible if it doesn't work though.

Nah, you don't need to do that, the PC should be doing it automatically.

You'll want to click on "restore my computer to an earlier time" when system restore opens.

That didnt work, it did the whole restore opened up and it said that it wasnt able to restore to that date.

You could go to the Media Center and do a search for "spyware". I know there have been threads there for that type of stuff.
