8-0 says what? I mean if it wasn't for that...totally!

Oh, i don't know. Maybe a better than 1/1 TD/INT ratio.

So instead of punching it in from the 1 with Pacheco, they should’ve thrown it? Probably should’ve told Worthy not to take it to the house either. That’s not how we should be scoring points, dammit!

Smith-Schuster’s dropped TD was definitely Mahomes’ fault.

Meanwhile, Joey B continues to earn hero worship for never coming through when needed.

Btw, since you've suddenly become "you are what the stats say you are" guy...

Joe Burrow in 7 postseason games: 9 TDs, 4 INTs, 260.9 ypg, 93.8 rating

Alex Smith in 7 postseason games: 14 TDs, 2 INTs, 264 ypg, 97.4 rating

It appears that Burrow is a pretty good regular season QB who performs at a sub-Alex Smith level when it matters most, yes?

Oh?

There's a difference between using stats to explain greatness and using stats to excuse failure.

Ohh. Now do Joey Jumpball 4th quarter playoff TDs. Can you find 1?

Hey. Did anyone else see that shit throw to Worthy down the right sideline when he was wide open today?

Oof..

No worries though. If the defense doesn't bail you out, special teams will.

9 and uh oh!

Yeah, he's been riding a lucky streak, but who can predict how Mahomes will perform come the playoffs??? FRAUD ALERT!!!

You have to be a special kind of stupid to be a fan of a team that won't make the playoffs to come to the fan board of the back-to-back Super Bowl champions, who are 9-0 to talk shit.

Go see what happened in '03 and '13 when you started off 9-0.

Like… wear a helmet for his own safety type stupid.

Like we care about stats. Only reason we care about the regular season this year is because the Chiefs are undefeated. Otherwise, talk to me when the Chiefs miss the AFCCG.

So by your logic, the Bengals will never win the Super Bowl.

Actually, I think I agree with you now.

The one conversation I remember around here in '13 were people blowing their load on beating the Jaguars in the opener... of course, after '12, the bar was set really low, but of course as fans do, some took it to the extreme and thought they were playoff contender after that one game.

Looking at that 9-0 start, their SoS was .361, beating one team with a winning record (one that finished 8-8, and two others 7-9). In the remaining 8 games, their SoS was .554, playing 5 teams with winning records (offset a bit by a 3-13 and 4-12 teams).

Overall, giving them a SoV of .335.

For reference, the Bengals' current SoV is .237, which is the lowest in the league including the Panthers (.241).
