Reminds me of I think it was Larry Bird in the 30 for 30 about athletes bankruptcy that the best financial lesson he learned was that he should say no to most propositions.

This dude is just a mess. He's got about what, 2 or 3 years left in the league?

Broke by 40. Sad.

Red Dawg 04-09-2025 03:37 PM

NFL players fight for every dollar because these days everything costs a lot of money. He's made a lot of money to live very nice forever but it's not nearly enough to just do whatever you want. You need hundreds of millions to think like that.

If you make 10 mil per year that's very good and you can live a great life but it's not enough to have 3 mansions or anything. Hill makes much more than that, but I bet he's going through cash like crazy and has bought a bunch of stupid crap that holds no value.

When the paychecks stop his ass is going to massivley hurting

RedinTexas 04-09-2025 03:40 PM

Did this happen in Pittsburgh? Or is Brooke Pryor vacationing in Miami?

Deberg_1990 04-09-2025 03:46 PM

Hill only has 5 kids? Hes no Elon Musk

comochiefsfan 04-09-2025 03:46 PM

At the end of the day, Tyreek Hill is still the most electrifying football player I’ve ever seen.

He was so fun to watch and should have gone down as an inner circle Chiefs legend with none of this baggage.

It’s just a shame he’s such a piece of shit.

Man, I remember when we picked him up. I thought for sure our defense would be absolutely wrecking shit. I couldn't believe how much of a worthless non-factor he was. I stopped thinking about him so much that I just now googled him and found out he died in 2011.

Serious and honest question:

Observing everything that's gone on. Do you still feel like the college situation was all made up and he just pleaded to make it all go away?

I was skeptical then. I was skeptical when that super fabricated text conversation showed up after the arm-breaking situation:

Quote:

Tyreek: “Crystal you know I didn’t cause any bruising or harm to [our son.] But for some reason I still may be charged.”

Crystal: “I know you didn’t. I did. I hurt [our son.] I’m the one that did it. I was hurt and mad at you so I blamed you for everything.”
It was nice to have plausible deniability as a fan to appreciate his epic talent. But man, there's every reason to believe he's a genuinely bad person.

Unless something big breaks I'll probably just hold onto that plausible deniability. Not gonna breathlessly defend the guy but have a lot of great memories that he was a part of. Fortunately if some really bad shit does come out we now have plenty that he's not a part of as well.

Years ago when I bartended there was a Juco coaching staff that came to my bar. They got drunk as shit and we were talking. I asked them what was the best player they've ever recruited. Mind you this is a school that has had many players that eventually made it to the league some big names too. A few of them said without a doubt Tyreek Hill. They also said he was a big headache regarding the DV stuff and there was more shit that we don't hear about. I guess we're seeing that play out the last few years. The guy continues to get himself into unsesscary shit.

I wonder if the Chiefs would have moved on sooner if they weren't a dynasty with Pat

We had no idea about this shit with Tyreek when he was here. He balled out and helped win a Superbowl and then we traded him at the right time and that trade helped win 2 more Superbowls. The Chiefs got the best of both worlds. The organization couldn't have handled it any better.

If he was truly a monster at some point the cops would have nailed him. Especially someone as dumb as Tyreek.

This particular incident was over before it even began which again points to him just being an idiot with terrible taste in women, i.e. gold-diggers and opportunists.

Rashee on the other hand showed a callous disregard for human life in his incident, of which this wasn't the first. His own scouting report said, quote, he was "not a good dude."

If Tyreek could keep it in his pants or hell, get a damn vasectomy, he would reduce his problems in life by 95%.

I never saw anything in Rashee's scouting reports that talked about his sense of ethics.

It's like the people who blamed the Chiefs for bringing woman kicker Kareem Hunt into the NFL. How the **** were we supposed to know he would do that?

Couldn't agree more.

Kids growing up w/ no father figure. He's already warped their sense of reality permanently when they grow up thinking having 10+ step siblings w/ 9 different women is a good idea b/c daddy did it.

As for the assaults, you'd have to turn a blind eye & be willfully ignorant to not believe he's not guilty of something. And that doesn't preclude the women from having bad behavior as well seeing as crazy attracts crazy.

He's a disaster & a genuinely bad human being who will be broke :15 after the last team cuts him.

Tyreek keeps looking to be traded. Keeps tanking his value.

Man, I liked this guy when he was here. But damn, he is not smart. Soon to be divorced. 11 kids on child support. Spends money. Probably will be traded and have to buy another place. Probably knocks up women in new city.

Do sports books allow betting on when someone goes broke after football?

Rain Man 04-10-2025 08:42 AM

I think Joe Montana got it exactly right when he was watching Jet Chip Wasp and said, "Get down, knucklehead".

I don't think Tyreek is evil or a bad dude, but he's a guy who always has to get in the last word and can never simply walk away from a fight or disagreement. That means he's always going to be running into situations where another person does the same thing and it escalates beyond all proportion.

Listen to Joe, you knucklehead, and get down when there's nothing more to be gained by fighting.

Valiant 04-10-2025 09:18 AM

I wonder if this, prior incidents in Miami and his social media posts are enough to be conduct detrimental to team are enough to void his contract.

Imagine only a few teams would match prior year deals with his behavior. I would think top teams would want prove it year with behaviors.

TribalElder 04-10-2025 09:28 AM

And again, I don't mean that as any sort of pejorative. It's just a statement.

That is a very very dumb man. He was blessed with an incredible physique and life-changing speed.

He was not blessed with even basic below average intelligence and because of that fact his impulse control is...lacking.

There's just not a lot else to dive into here. You don't have to psychoanalyze the guy. You don't have to wonder about his upbringing. You don't chalk it up to immaturity or an inability to handle sudden onset fame/wealth. You don't hope he can just stop doing dumb things.

Because he's dumb. He's GOING to keep doing the things a dumb person would do.

I was hoping Jalen Carter's stock would slip enough that the Chiefs would have a shot. Of course, the Eagles were too smart to let that happen.

I don't know where he should fall, but I'd love the Chiefs to nab Bond at value.

Plus we all know Rashee is innocent and he just took the wrap for his homie Grey Shorts Guy.

Dumb people know right from wrong.

He is dumb, but also possesses poor character.

This trade marked the beginning of the greatest three year run in NFL history. Tyreek got paid and the Chiefs got two rings and an AFC Championship, missed the three-peat by a game. It doesn't get much better.

Is there a reason, after having a few kids, these guys don't just get a vasectomy if they are gonna be banging all these women?

You're spot on, a vasectomy is really the only way to go for some of these guys

You damn sure can't trust that these women take their pill religiously every day, you have to automatically assume they're all looking for a golden ticket

Miami Dolphins Might Trade Tyreek Hill to Cowboys in Major Move
By BVM Sportsdesk, 4h ago

The Miami Dolphins face a pivotal offseason after finishing the 2024 season with an 8-9 record. A significant factor was quarterback Tua Tagovailoa's recurring injuries, affecting the team's performance. As the Dolphins contemplate their future, trade rumors surrounding star wide receiver Tyreek Hill have surfaced, with the Dallas Cowboys prominently mentioned as a potential trade partner. Hill, after a slightly down year in 2024, hinted at wanting a trade, but Dolphins management has denied any such request.

By the Numbers
Tyreek Hill caught 81 passes for 959 yards and six touchdowns in the 2024 season.
In the last three seasons, Hill has recorded 319 receptions for 4,468 yards and 26 touchdowns.

State of Play
Dolphins finished 2024 in second place in the AFC East and out of playoff contention.
Team management must decide between investing further in the current roster or preparing for a rebuild.

What's Next
Future developments could see Tyreek Hill traded to the Cowboys, potentially enhancing their offense alongside CeeDee Lamb. The Dolphins might look for draft picks in return, shaping their strategy for the upcoming seasons. This offseason will be crucial for determining the direction of both franchises.

Bottom Line
The Dolphins stand at a crossroads; trading Tyreek Hill could signal a shift towards rebuilding, while keeping him could mean investing in immediate performance. The decision could influence both the team's future and that of the Cowboys as they seek to strengthen their playoff contention.

part of me thinks that the reason why Tyreek never did this shit or we didn't know about it at least is respect for his head coach. He didn't want to disappoint Andy Reid because everyone loves him. He doesn't give 2 shits if he disrespects Mike McDaniel, players don't respect a coach like that like they do with Andy Reid.

Agree. More NFL clickbait than actual news this time of year. The Draft can't get here soon enough. :)

Hard to see a good season coming for him.
