That's surprising considering the Rams have no high draft picks.

Were you expecting the Rams to give up a pick for their own player?

Looks like Hill’s contract gonna take more time.

According to Mike Jones (who!) on Twitter.

“On the heels of Davante Adams’ mega deal with the Raiders, Tyreek Hill’s situation with the Chiefs is one to watch. He has wanted a new deal, but talks have been unsuccessful. Now Adams’ pay day only exacerbates things, source says.“

I've read somewhere that the deal was done a long time ago... I just can't remember where..

We’re signing DK Metcalf, EB isn’t coming back because of a season long rift with Mahomes..... Feelin like I’m missing a few.

When does the Patrick Mahomes affect take place and big names start signing for team friendly contracts to win Championships? We pay scrubs like New England payed stars. Of course, Tom didn’t have his hand the deepest in the till

I think the difference between us and the Rams/Bucs is that we only want to add guys that are still in their prime to fit around our young QB. No FAs over 30. Those other teams get older FA ring chasers to match their aging QBs.

When do they clean out lockers? Because Juju’s locker is right next to someone who doesn’t have a contract. Or is this foreshadowing that they’re bringing Robinson back.

It's the first two weeks of ****ing free agency, man. You think New England was setting their vet roster in the first two weeks of free agency and pressing the save button?

The cheap vets are still around after the draft. That's not to say we're going to sign a bunch (or any of them) but that was always the sweet spot of New England's teams.

Solid. He'll take Remmers spot the depth chart I'm guessing. Same money too.

PFF gave him a very good pass blocking grade last year, poor run blocking. He's had a very up and down career as a whole.

That's fine.

Should be a reasonable figure. His type of player never generates a ton of interest and his platform season was arguably the worst of his career.

So probably a smart move, especially if/when Reed moves on.

It's not coming together in a good way. The 29th rated pass rush minus Ingram is still something we would struggle to achieve at this point. So, you could say the Texan's offense is "coming together" but that doesn't mean it's getting better.

Everything they've done is fine if they're adding a DE1 but we all know those odds are slim.

Considering what the cabinet is missing I'd think the best approach is to target one off the better DT's in the draft (Wyatt) to pair with Jones. Instead of two beasts on the outside we work inside out.

We'll probably retain Clark and add two guys exactly like what you mentioned above and rely on the inside pressure to walk QB's to the outside where very average hunters can capitalize.

Concentrate on the FA or trade-up talent the following year. Unlike O line the D line requires high draft picks at 3 of the 4 spots.

They don’t necessarily need to “start”. They need to be in the rotation.

It’s literally what the Bills did last year.

Saying our D-line is bad is merely stating the obvious plus the fact that it's now minus Ingram, Reed, and Okafor. However, Veach has already said the D-line was going to be a (if not the) main focus this off-season. There seems to be an awful lot of people here who forget that statement. I have no doubt he has something in mind and we will all be shaking our heads in amazement before the start of the season. Patience grasshopper, turn that frown upside down.

We’ve literally drafted 2 since Veach took over and 1 was just a rookie 4th rounder last year.

Also, finding great edge rushers is not easy, hence why our competition just spent a shit ton of money and/or draft capital for 30+ year old edge rushers.

The Bills have drafted 3 in the first 2 rounds the last 2 years, and they STILL had to pay Von Miller a shit ton of money.

I’m usually one to knock Veach in favor of Dorsey, but he had a subpar track record there as well. Kpass and Ford are the names that come to mind. Ford is probably the best edge player we’ve drafted in the past decade or so. Did pretty well prior to that with Houston and Hali, just not much since. Hopefully that changes this year.

If we can sign a vet to play DE like Ingram or Dunlap then grab 2 DL in the first 105 picks of the draft, I’ll be satisfied. That’s about as good as you could reasonably hope for.

The other 2 picks would be for another offensive weapon and a DB.

Not the sexiest offseason, but pretty responsible overall.

The cheap vets are still around after the draft. That's not to say we're going to sign a bunch (or any of them) but that was always the sweet spot of New England's teams.

Last years doesn’t count?
