Looks like Hill’s contract gonna take more time.
According to Mike Jones (who!) on Twitter. “On the heels of Davante Adams’ mega deal with the Raiders, Tyreek Hill’s situation with the Chiefs is one to watch. He has wanted a new deal, but talks have been unsuccessful. Now Adams’ pay day only exacerbates things, source says.“ I’m new so don’t have privileges to post links. |

Good morning Chiefs Planet Dot Com!!
I look forward to the Kansas City Chiefs (my favorite professional football team) signing several pieces of shit to play NFL football today. Have a great day! And go Chiefs!!!! |
When do they clean out lockers? Because Juju’s locker is right next to someone who doesn’t have a contract. Or is this foreshadowing that they’re bringing Robinson back.

We'll hear from new #Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster around 12:45 pm CT. The cheap vets are still around after the draft. That's not to say we're going to sign a bunch (or any of them) but that was always the sweet spot of New England's teams. |

Looks like he gave up one sack in 588 snaps in 2021. Damn Wylie gave up 4 in 522. I seem to remember him playing better than that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Hope his middle name is Imo

PFF gave him a very good pass blocking grade last year, poor run blocking. He's had a very up and down career as a whole. |

Good pick up. Now let’s get Ingram back, sign a low cost LB, corner and attack the draft

:grr:the article said Niang wasnt expected back until Mid season??

Niang was switched on draft day like a baby in the hospital born a Charger

The #Chiefs are re-signing DT Derrick Nnadi to a 1-year deal, per his agents @_SportsTrust. Former third-round pick is coming off a 3-sack season
|
Quote:
Should be a reasonable figure. His type of player never generates a ton of interest and his platform season was arguably the worst of his career. So probably a smart move, especially if/when Reed moves on. |
DL coming together....
|
Quote:
So 'coming together' isn't exactly how I'd characterize it. There's a LOT of work left to do here to get to even adequate. |
Quote:

Nnadi coming back isn't a stunner, big run stuffing DT's don't get paid.

It shouldnt take much to replace the production of Reed and Okafor

We'll probably retain Clark and add two guys exactly like what you mentioned above and rely on the inside pressure to walk QB's to the outside where very average hunters can capitalize. Concentrate on the FA or trade-up talent the following year. Unlike O line the D line requires high draft picks at 3 of the 4 spots. |

What they’re doing with the DL is fine. They just need to grab 2-3 guys early on the draft.

Bengals OL got a lot better. Will be interesting when our new DL takes them on in prime time week 1
|
They def did the Veach on their ol
|
I’ll be honest we haven’t drafted good edge rushers in a minute….
|
Quote:
Also, finding great edge rushers is not easy, hence why our competition just spent a shit ton of money and/or draft capital for 30+ year old edge rushers. The Bills have drafted 3 in the first 2 rounds the last 2 years, and they STILL had to pay Von Miller a shit ton of money. |

If we can sign a vet to play DE like Ingram or Dunlap then grab 2 DL in the first 105 picks of the draft, I’ll be satisfied. That’s about as good as you could reasonably hope for.
The other 2 picks would be for another offensive weapon and a DB. Not the sexiest offseason, but pretty responsible overall. |
