I don't care about it at all. I am just not willing to dedicate the time to getting all trophies and 100% completion. Honestly if Sony allowed it I would get rid of every throphy for every game I have as I just care that little for them.

While I don't care in the slightest about trophies, I would never be able to get to 100% in that one as I can't seem to beat that stupid Valkyrie Queen Sigrun.

The people that have 100% on those games is crazy.

The first level after the end of Act I (4th level I guess) where you are climbing to the top, the organ music keeps getting louder. Jesus, that whole sequence and fight are going to live in my brain forever.

And as hard as that fight is, at least it's relatively fair. A couple of the Berserker fights and Gna are just outright bullshit at times.

I think I gotta give D4 a hard pass. nothing about it impressed me and never could get interested

Largest ARPG at launch of any in the genre ever. It doesn't do anything new or exciting but I like it sticking to it's roots not having mandatory raids and such. Always has crisp amazing combat, albeit this one seems to be more tactical and less romp on the buttons. I put probably over 1500 hours into the 1st game, 10 years and who knows how many hours into D2 and about a ton into 3 despite it being the most boring.

I'm sure I'll be playing it on and off, nothing like the experience tbh in this genre.

part of me wants to play it. Who knows, I might end up doing a 180 on launch day and say **** it lol, wouldn't be the first time.

I played the Beta and enjoyed it. I'll be playing it on opening day but I didn't pay extra to play it now.

I want to like the game more than i actually do. I go down the list of features and it checks all the boxes that i typically look for in a game.

But the bit of Beta i played i was just....meh on it. And i dont really know why.

Graphics might be too gritty and not enough color, rest of it looks pretty amazing.

playing SMB4. i think the EGO is out of whack or Elite pitches are very OP. I played SMB3 at 69 EGO and that would be challenging. Im playing SMB4 at 69 EGO and am winning in blow outs.

in my first 3 exhibition games, I pitched 2 complete game shut outs, and a complete game with 16 K.

I had similar start as well (didnt allow a run the first 3 or 4 games).......now I'm struggling as others have caught up.

I'm about 65-60 EGO range as well, but now I'm struggling to get hits, and I think I've only hit one home run (though I never use the analog stick for a power swing).

Pitches are much much faster in this version, and I find a lot of players (myself included) swinging at bad pitches.

Side note: when picking a team last night, I saw Willie Wilson was on one of the rosters!

i played another 3 games. Ive figured out that the pitchers that have high velocity, an elite pitch, and the K collector stat are OP. Randy Johnson can throw a 98 mph slider if he catches fire and you time the power pitch perfectly when he has 2 strikes. I managed to throw a 97mph slider in the 8th inning. so the elite pitch has its velocity preserved too. Randys 4F dropped to 99mph (down from 104) in the 8th.

Payday 3 looks like it was developed 10 years ago. Pretty disappointing trailer for one of the few games I had circled.

They have to be making money releasing 200 dlc packs for money, I would hope the team has grown quite a bit. I think not on sale Payday 2 with all the DLC is like over $1000

I will say the actual gameplay is a tiny bit lackluster. But the second demo later in the game opens it up quite a bit so it's not AS repetitive. The story is top notch though. Super ****ing dark right off the rip.

I don't know when exactly. Without looking it up I'd guess sometime around the 13th or 14th installments.

Idk if you saw but they made a Final Fantasy 7 Remake and it moved away from turn-based fighting as well. They're changing shit up big time.

FF7 Remake did have an option to play a more turn based style. But this game is entirely action based. Abilities use a cool down but you're still fighting in between. Like it a lot actually. Apparently they had a lot of help from the DMC designer.

That was my first thought when I watched some gameplay. Shit reminded me of DMC. I might check it out now that it’s not turn based.

Fair warning, the combat is pretty lackluster until you get to the second part of the demo. Then you've actually got a lot of variety.

I bought Diablo 4 last Sunday, I'm actually really liking it. Got a lvl 60 pulverize Druid kicking ass about ready to get into world tier 4

Feels weird to say but it might be my favorite Arpg of all time, it's really well done. We'll see how the endgame is as it sounds like it has and actual end which is not good.

ya I just started doing WT4 and it's definitely a giant leap in difficulty, at least at first. I hear most of the people who are already level 100 say that there isn't much to do after that.

FFXVI is ****ing awesome. If you're on the fence about it would definitely recommend. Has a ton of QOL systems jammed into the game that I hope become the standard for the genre going forward.

You're able to freely reset your abilities so you're able to experiment and find what best works for you.

You can pause any cutscenes and get 'active lore' excerpts about who the characters are, where they are, and who/what they are talking about since this is pretty GOT like and it's a bit rough to keep it all straight at first.

There's a handful of 'accessibility' accessories you have access to that will make the game easier to the point it's basically playing itself while you mash buttons.

I'm over a month in to dumping the majority of my free time into this game.

I'm biased, as Zelda games are what I grew up on since the SNES days. (Link to the Past was amazing)

This game is truly is a masterpiece. I've been putting off fighting the final boss simply because I don't want the game coming to an end yet.

Definitely one of my top 3 games of all time.

Yeah, Tears of the Kingdom has been really impressive. JFC the map is huge. I don't think I've discovered half of the Depths yet. The creativity in this game is insane. You can really play however you want. People are building ****ing mechs in the game, and just cruising through bad guys. Need to get over that large canyon? Build a hover bike. Or a boat. Or a hover boat bike. With rockets. And lasers. LMAO. So much new shit you figure out as you go along, that just blows your mind.

Some of it can be frustrating at times though. I've had a few rage moments. Early on, some of those shrines, there was no way I was figuring out how to get through it without looking up a damn Youtube video.

Just ordered tears of the kingdom, still looking for a good ps5 game, feels like there’s nothing worthwhile after horizon, however the new FF is tempting.

I didnt have as much of a problem with 2 as others did. It did have a little less depth than the first one, but I absolutely love the setting, characters, story, gameplay, etc.....so anything Bioshock is a win for me.

Stray is also leaving if anyone wanted to give the cat game a go.

I tried it for about 15 minutes thinking it might be kinda funny.

Turns out i was dead ass wrong. That game was made for cat people. No, not gamers who think it'd be fun to **** off as a cat and kill shit and jump around....but for actual cat lovers.

It gets better as it goes on the later levels have some challenge.

I just pulled the trigger and finally beat the final boss in TOTK. Great final boss sequence, cinematics, etc.

Was really surprised to find I was only at 69% completion. (Nice)

I'll probably replay through this game at some point, but my God what a masterpiece. I'll wait around for DLC content which I'll happily spend my $$$ on before giving it another run.

Project Zomboid kept popping up all over the place so I decided to give it a whirl over the weekend. It's available free on GOG Unlocked.

It's a real stinker. Controls, lack of any end game, graphics, the weird 3rd person view, plus about a hundred other things. Make sure you try it before you buy it because watching someone else play is no where near the experience of playing it yourself.
