Remember what's happened every time they've ever been crazy hyped and assumed their team would win a huge game.... for the past 4 decades.

True. But every season brings new hope. TIL they meet Mahomes in the playoffs. Tbh, I prefer them thinking their team will win. Adds to their heartbreak when they get sent home. Because I ****ing HATE their fans!

At some point they're gonna get us. Allen's really good and McDermott is a quality coach.

And when they do, the argument is going to be incredibly predictable:

"Well everyone thought Peyton Manning was better than Tom Brady until they both hit their 30s, then Brady blew past him. It's going to happen again..."

Just wait. If they win, that's what you're gonna see. Josh Allen will be their version of Tom Brady who was stuck in Mahomes shadow for the first several years of their careers and was just waiting to pounce. Now he's gonna show us all who the real GOAT is...

They can do have that once Kelce and Jones are gone and Mahomes has 4-5 SB's.

Not this week!

I don't remember it like that at all...

Peyton always had the numbers and Brady always had the hardware. It felt like Manning always lived in Brady's shadow cause he couldn't get past him in the playoffs, and if he did, he could never make it all the way.

I mean, everyone will 100% crown Allen if he beats us in the playoffs, but I highly doubt anyone would start some Allen > Mahomes nonsense after a single Super Bowl.

I know a certain fanbase that has been waiting for just that moment!

The way I see it, is that until the Bills actually beat us when it matters (Playoffs), then they and their fanbase can go **** themselves. Let the media continue their ball-washing of all QBs not named Mahomes, it only makes it that much nicer when we send them home.

I am confident that who ever lines up across from us will be beaten. Three-peat incoming.

Peyton did not have the championship hardware in the early part of his career, but Brady did.

Buffalo fans have been saying for years the Chiefs are the 1980's Pistons or Celtics, and Buffalo is the 1990's Chicago Bulls. We will see about that. They seem to forget there are other teams standing in the way too.

Buffalo isn't even the Buffalo of the 90s.

They got laptop shelves on metal poles in Buffalo. Unsticking the tongue can wait

I mean, the feel like there's literally no way WE can win this game. That Allen will score over 30 and that we can't score like we used to to keep up.

The only player that worries me isn't Allen - it's Cook. He's shifty and we seem to ahve issues with faster shiftier backs. Henry was less worrisome to me because we have stout backers that can meet him head on.

But Cook is the one that's an issue.

The story of this game will be if Allen can be contained as a rusher.

We match up very well to them in the secondary and if we can contain Josh when he runs better than last time, we will have opportunities to get up early and stay there.

I’ll be shocked if Buffalo gives 100%. I mean, with the referee situation, what’s the point? It doesn’t matter what the Bills do, the league is going to make sure Mahomes wins.
