Ray Farmer is not under consideration for any role. Dorsey is going to be the GM (he has to be to make the move), Heckert will be director of pro personnel. There will also be a cap guru brought in. Eagle teams always have a lot of cap space but they spend.

Reason this wasn't done last night was because Reid wanted 5 years. As it said in this post. Chiefs had to get there but started at 3.

Finally, go **** yourself Scott Pioli. **** you, **** you, **** you. Source nailed that they had to fire Pioli to avoid Clark getting sued for breaking contract. They are paying Pioli in full. This final year from his orig. deal plus his 2 year extension that Clark gave.

I'll never bash Clark Hunt again.

Finally, there's a lot of old timers at Arrowhead who are dancing in the office isles as that dictating piece of shit gets his shit out of the office.

FREE AT LAST, FREE AT LAST.

Anything about if Rivera gets fired on Monday?

Nothing about him. There's a good chance he stays in Carolina.

Text him back and remind him Coughlin didn't win shit in Jacksonville before coming to New York. Dumb ****.

I'm hoping wholehearted no to Kiffin. I really really want Rivera, so he needs to get fired quick.

Another question, how is your source feeling about keeping his job?

Wow, we would have one hell of a personnel department. Can't believe Heckert would do that when GM positions are out there, but that's pretty impressive of a guy to bring in at that level.

Ugh on Kiffin. Good news is, at least it's outside of Reid's tree, so it wouldn't be a crony hire. But it's not an arguably outdated defense run by a guy who may not be coaching much longer that requires a significant shift in personnel.

I would think pretty good because he's been in the loop about everything.

Cool.

Just with all the talk of these sweeping changes, hoping he wasn't involved in them.

O.city 01-04-2013 03:49 PM

Also, are the GM's pretty much a done deal at this point?

Sassy Squatch 01-04-2013 03:49 PM

What is so bad about Kiffin? Uneducated moron here.

Runs the outdated Tampa 2, which is extremely hard to get pieces for.

Marcellus 01-04-2013 03:51 PM

Wouldn't Kiffin mean we are going back to a 4-3 Tampa 2 type defense?

O.city 01-04-2013 03:51 PM

Probably so, ugh.

Its starting to look like to me that all of these guys want to come here and knock it straight out of the park.

The only thing I can think of as to why they'd all want to come here and share duties like this is because they're trying to recreate the 90's 49ers and Packers that resulted in literally DOZENS of these types of guys getting HC and GM jobs all over the league.

Eh, it's a little more complicated than that.
