The Bills suck.

I don't think he's a great OT, but he's a damn solid one and he plays with a nasty streak that I'm sure his QB appreciates.

All he really has to do is stay healthy.

Oh there are really only two possible outcomes.

1) Mahomes loses -- whoever beats him is anointed as the best QB in football.

2) Mahomes wins -- whoever loses has excuse after excuse after excuse made for them and by week 6 of next season when that person is piling up stats against rummies, we rinse and repeat everything we've done the last 2 years.

You lose to Mahomes and you get zero blame for it. You beat Mahomes and you get far more credit than you deserve AND a place atop the NFL hierarchy for (checks Bengals history) at least 3 seasons.

It's silly.

1st world problems in the NFL. I hope we're bitching about this for the next 15 years.

He's also reason to be optimistic about Suamataia and Morris still having upside. Brown was inconsistent and at times downright awful in his first two years.

You know damn well if that was Mahomes, they'd be bitching for the next 10 years.

It isn't even about the exchange itself, it's the inherent hypocrisy attached to it.

That's how Allen relayed it, sure.

But I have eyes.

That 'hands to the chest' motion most assuredly is NOT "stop yelling at me..."

Dude apologized for missing a call. It's a shit look and were it anyone but Allen (or Jackson) -- the anointed challengers of the mighty Mahomes -- it would have people up in arms.

It was ridiculous.

And Josh Allen thinks we're stupid.

In your case, it appears he's right.

RunKC 01-14-2025 09:50 AM

Listen guys…far be it from me to defend Josh Allen getting dapped up by the refs. That was ridiculous that he went to the bench. Looking at what Allen could see…he was right.

Surtain was definitely holding in the endzone and it was insane that it wasn’t called. If that was us we’d all be livid.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">My guys in the background working the ref <a href="https://t.co/ynEn8iizIW">pic.twitter.com/ynEn8iizIW</a></p>&mdash; YardsPerPass (@YardsPerPass) <a href="https://twitter.com/YardsPerPass/status/1878916621106037211?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 13, 2025</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Speaking of..Surtain was god awful. He gave up something like 85 yards and a TD and adding this onto it?

Dude got his ass kicked

DJ's left nut 01-14-2025 09:53 AM

Who said it wasn't? It was OBVIOUSLY a missed hold.

Which makes this idea that the ref went to him and said "don't yell at me!" as he was giving the universal 'my bad' gesture and they proceeded to dap each other up all the more ridiculous.

There's no question at all what it was. And for Allen to even try to say otherwise (or anyone in the world to believe it) is just insulting.

Rainbarrel 01-14-2025 09:54 AM

That ref will probably name his next kid out of wedlock, Josh

I just have no time for the nonsense. I dont have the energy to give AF if the ref came and apologized for a bad call, which it was. I also ****ing hate the constant drivel of conspiracies ruining actual football discourse. Im so done with it. I ignore all the people who screams about the chiefs and the refs and I try to do it with the dumbassess saying it here but it’s tiresome seeing this shit in every thread
