MU BOC chairman Warren Erdman just told me he will have a session with the media following closed session in about 35 to 40 minutes.

I think the Pinstripe Bowl was a terrible idea.

But, the Insight Bowl is in AZ and they're affiliated with the Big 12 and Big 10.

Same - get it over with. I'll be disappointed if MU stays at this point, especially if WVU is a reality.

Weather-wise the Pinstripe Bowl sucks, but if you're going to get fans to go to any cold weather city in late December, it's probably going to be NYC. Christmas time in NYC is really fun.

Don't they have a bowl now in Detroit? Now THAT would be awful.

I dunno... I don't think KSU got 1k to travel to that game. At least from this area. Too expensive. Weather just like home. Having the crappiest D in football (a crown taken with pride by KU) didn't help.

They had a bowl in Detroit for years, it stopped a few years back unless they started one again. They also have a bowl game in Idaho.

KCTV5 is streaming the press conference. There have been a few shots of a nice fanny pack but no one with Mizzou yet.

To be honest, I'm surprised that something hasn't leaked yet. The way info has been leaking in the past, I really expected to see something on ESPN that said "MU reportedly votes to leave Big 12, apply to SEC" by now.
