Credit where it’s due. Bills OL is really good. They beat the shit out of the Broncos. Completely dominated the best pass rushing DL in the league

Bills are physically dominant on offense but their defense just lacks that. It’s been their biggest issue for years prior and if their biggest issue this year. Won’t be a problem against teams like Denver, but Baltimore and Kansas City? i’d be shocked if Buffalo is capable of beating both. Allen would have to have the greatest run by a QB in postseason history.

Oh there are really only two possible outcomes.

1) Mahomes loses -- whoever beats him is anointed as the best QB in football.

2) Mahomes wins -- whoever loses has excuse after excuse after excuse made for them and by week 6 of next season when that person is piling up stats against rummies, we rinse and repeat everything we've done the last 2 years.

You lose to Mahomes and you get zero blame for it. You beat Mahomes and you get far more credit than you deserve AND a place atop the NFL hierarchy for (checks Bengals history) at least 3 seasons.

It's silly.

Double standards for sure.

MVP Lamar in 2023: 65/100 QBR
"Bad" Mahomes in 2024: 68/100 QBR

Patrick has to win every game and even when he does that, people still find a way to talk shit about him. It's pathetic. But you know the same thing happened for years with Brady (3 MVP's) compared to Peyton Manning (5 MVP's) and Aaron Rodgers (4 MVP's). Everyone tried to prop up the other 2 guys. But when it was all said and done? 7 rings for Brady, 2 rings for Manning, 1 ring for Rodgers. And now everybody has to admit Brady was the best, the GOAT.

The hilarious thing is that Peyton Manning was absolutely carried by his defenses to win both of his rings, which is something many people have said about Brady during his career. Peyton threw 3 TD and 7 INT in the Playoff run when the Colts won the Super Bowl. His arm & neck were completely shot to hell when the phenomenal Denver defense carried him to a 2nd ring later on.

I miss the old social media feeds from before this weekend. Everything is now rigged for the Bills because of the TD catch that was reviewed. Mobody is talking about the Chiefs.

The sharps have already bet on Baltimore enough to swing the spread in their favor, now BAL -1.

Do with that what you will.

Didn't Ed Oliver abuse our O-line in the first meeting? Milano is pretty good too and I believe he's been hurt at various points this year. I don't remember if he played in our first meeting. They're not the 85 Bears but their defense isn't bad. They just looked horrendous in the Rams game but that might have been an outlier. You don't see many games with that score.

why do i care what puny homeless man’s aaron donald does in a regular season game?

we’ve seen it time and time again in the playoffs with this bills team. their D line simply gets overmatched. it happened against us thrice and happened against the Bengals. yeah, they have some good players on defense. a lot, actually. but no one special. no chris jones, no roquan smith, they’re all good, not great. they’re heavily scheme reliant.

when bills/ravens was first confirmed my gut said bills bc Lamar < JAllen but as i talk about the bills i’m starting to think this could actually be a ravens rout

Spencer Brown is sorta the Trey Smith of OTs. A generally effective pass protector if not an elite one but where he shines is as a good physical presence in most things he does.

I don't think he's a great OT, but he's a damn solid one and he plays with a nasty streak that I'm sure his QB appreciates.

I'm just glad he's turned it around; I was pushing for us to look at him coming out of Northern Iowa.
