hoax. Utah likely goes to the PAC-10. Honestly, with this big windfall promise from the still-unnamed TV network, it doesn't make sense to expand unless the new schools can bring in at least $15-20MM in value per year.

Well that was a wild ride ending up in a whole lot of more of the same. This is a massive letdown and an embarrassment nationally but I'll get over it a lot faster in the Big 12 than in the MWC. Bottom line if Texas didn't move MU couldn't, now I just hope they try to get 2 more teams and keep the championship game.
