I would actually say that Jackson and it’s not really close. He has two MVPs and Allen doesn’t. Plus Allen has been far better in the playoffs than Jackson. His issue was playing at the same time as Mahomes. You put Allen on Baltimore last year and he’s probably winning the SB.

Because Bills, is real. SB winning Ravens QBs are not really household names

MVP's don't mean shit. It's literally a journalist award for the best "story" of that year. Some voters don't want to give it to Lamar because he won it last year.

WTF?

There's no integrity to the award. At all. It's garbage. It's worse than the pro bowl.

In terms of wins in the playoffs Allen and Lamar are similar. But as of this moment Lamar is basically a lock for the HOF. Allen is on the track but he’s got work to do because of the lack of personal hardware. They definitely impact a players legacy.

You have completely jumped the shark with your anti-MVP argument when you claim it’s worse than the Pro Bowl.

No. Patrick won MVP twice and it's a valid part of his HOF resume.

Pro Bowls are great for contract negotiations. MVPs play a huge role in HOF selections. They aren’t even close.

IT'S NOT HIS FAULT!!!!!

Oh there are really only two possible outcomes.

1) Mahomes loses -- whoever beats him is anointed as the best QB in football.

2) Mahomes wins -- whoever loses has excuse after excuse after excuse made for them and by week 6 of next season when that person is piling up stats against rummies, we rinse and repeat everything we've done the last 2 years.

You lose to Mahomes and you get zero blame for it. You beat Mahomes and you get far more credit than you deserve AND a place atop the NFL hierarchy for (checks Bengals history) at least 3 seasons.

It's silly.

Don’t forget all the hate Pat would get for depriving Allen/Lamar from winning a Superbowl, pure evil.

In responding to the playoff games over the weekend ESPN’s Dan Graziano posted this little nugget when talking about the Ravens vs Steelers.

“Lamar Jackson -- who might win his third regular-season MVP later this month -- might well turn out to be the best football player any of us have ever seen, and they almost didn't need him to win Saturday”.

Well, Dan should learn that words hurt, but hammers hurt worse

now he has as many playoff wins as MVPs

Serious question. Is Bo Nix the best QB Allen has beaten in the playoffs?

Here’s the list.

Bo Nix
Mason Rudolph
Skylar Thompson
Mac Jones
Ancient Philip Rivers
Lamar Jackson/Tyler Huntley (Jackson didn’t play 4th quarter)

It’s probably that Lamar game but it’s honestly a toss up given he left the game and was still pretty raw himself back then.
