What is wrong w him hanging out w his friends? What the hell does that matter? In the video, his friends didnt get him into trouble they were trying to hold him back when he was pissed at that chick. You are really reaching here. Kareem should be fine w the Browns as far as getting into trouble. If he doesnt, Browns can just release him as Chiefs could have done if they had stuck by him and let him serve his suspension. They overreacted and rhe Browns benefited from it. Luckily we have Reid and Mahomes so it doesnt hurt as much as it would many teams but it still was an obvious mistake to release him. Tell me what good came of releasing Kareem? Chiefs look like good guys to the rest of the league? Well that's just great. Cant wait for Chiefs to win NFLs good guy team award |
We’re fine without Kareem. I can’t imagine the pain in the ass he would be if we kept him.
He’d be looking for elite money after getting in trouble 4X in a year. Yup don’t need that distraction. |

And when your career almost ended because of that drinking/fight thing and you're on a 1-year prove-it contract where you know one teeny tiny slipup is going to lead to an NFL blackballing... you're damn right even stepping foot in a bar is a dumb mistake. It also isn't rocket science that the most important thing for him is to stop drinking at bars and stop hanging out with friends who draw him to trouble. Geez, this isn't some random player in a bar. I could give a shit about that. This is a guy on thin ice and you're throwing him ice skates. What good came from releasing Hunt? It took a lot less pressure off the Chiefs to release Tyreek. And it sent a message to the players that the team will stand behind them, but they won't tolerate people who lie and don't take it seriously. As well as prevented an eventual distraction when Kareem gets suspended again. It's not "if"... it's "when." And really, we lost one season with Kareem before he gets way too much money that we don't want to pay... I'm not that heartbroken over losing a RB. I'd be a lot more worried if this was Tyreek. |

Elite RBs are great for like 2 or maybe 3 years. Then you have to pay them. And you shouldn't. Then they get upset because they're accounting a large portion of the yards from scrimmage and not getting paid. Then you get these holdouts. And you're left holding your dick in the end anyway. You're absolutely right. The mess of having to pay Mahomes, Tyreek, Jones, and Hunt would be ****ing insane. No Frank Clark. Probably no Honey Badger. We'd be left with our elite offense but just hoping and praying we can cobble together enough starters through the draft eventually to not suck just enough. It would be horrible. |
Also, people act like if we didn't have Hunt in some of those brilliant games of his that Andy Reid just wouldn't have had a backup... like we'd be playing those games without any RB at all.
Hunt is a different RB than Williams. He's better. The actual difference that makes? When you've got Patrick Mahomes at QB, it DOESN'T make a huge or notable difference. There were plenty of times and stretches of the season when the offense sputtered for a quarter or two, and that's when we had Hunt. Newsflash: The Chiefs will have to punt a few times this upcoming NFL season. It will happen. And it won't be because we don't have Kareem Hunt. |

To say when Chiefs punt it wont be because of Kareem is a little far fetched. How do you know? RBs like Kareem make a difference whether you want to admit it or not. This isnt Patrick Mahomes League. It is the NFL and it is a team game. |

They couldn’t trust him
This isn’t hard to figure out |

You don’t pay a RB like Hunt big money IMO, so I’m fully over it at the this point.
It’s different when your QB is Dak Prescott, but with Mahomes, we should never be paying a RB in the top 10 I would say. |
The Chiefs at very least should of kept him on his rookie contract, and if he became too much of a distraction then you could of traded him for a nice draft pick. Won a couple SBs...
Instead 500K wasted, you just gave his rights away to whatever was left on his rookie contract, wasted a draft pick, and you hand him off to Dorsey free of charge, to a man who was also kicked to the curb, and is looking to prove you wrong. Meanwhile, Hunt is looking to get that big payday after a 1 year prove it deal basically, when the Chiefs are knocking on the door to a SB. Because Chiefs... |
Hm yes, what a great message to send.
