I gave Cody to the Chiefs a lot with that high 2 but in none of those scenarios did Jerry Hughes fall this far other than I think once.

Cody is a two down player.

We're not drafting him to be Jay Ratliff, Casey Hampton, or Jamal Williams. He's gonna be a Jason Ferguson type: a dude who occupies two blockers and does nothing else.

He had half a sack in college and 10.5 TFL...total. He just anchors the line and occupies space. (Which, ironically, is why people were so pissed about both the Jackson selection and the switch to the 3-4 that obviated Dorsey's best talents)

I've yet to see a reason why three other NTs in this draft alone rated lower cannot do that just as well as Cody.

They'd either have to move him or get rid of him and frankly Hali isn't an answer either no matter how much people want to turn him into one.

And Vrabel is ****ing awful.

Hughes is kinda light and very athletic, I'd think he'd be better off the weakside.
