You don't think one of the more polarizing players in the NFL (and first ballot HoFer) announcing where he's gonna play next year on TikTok would've been posted by now? |
I’ll take Kyle Juzsckzscheck

Anyone ever heard of 'upchelsea.com'?
They just posted a report that AR just signed a 5-year deal with SEA. Sound too good to be true, so thought I'd ask. nvm. Has to be fake. contract is supposedly for $400M |
Considering they picked up Darnold earlier today . . . yeah, a tad suspicious.

Kyle Juzsckzscheck will be a seahawk.

News: Elandon Roberts agrees to terms with Raiders Defense gets a linebacker after Robert Spillane left |
didn't see until now that Perine went to the Bengals. He had a few good plays for us
|
I am surprised that Bosa has not been signed yet
|
IF Greenlaw recovers well from that injury, that's a very good pick-up for the Broncos. I'm not sure I'd have wanted to risk pulling the trigger at that cost, but a true coverage LB would be REALLY nice for this team.

Johnathan Allen to the Vikings 3 years 60 million

Jevon Holland to the Giants 3 years 46.8 million.

With Slayton staying for 3/36 they pretty much just need a QB and a RG to be be a much better team. I think they are going to throw the kitchen sink at trading up to #1 with the Titans at this point and get Ward. |
San Francisco released DT Maliek Collins to save cap space. Bring him home Veach. :D
Honestly doubt he's within the price point needed to do that but he'd be a solid plug next to Chris Jones. |

I doubt they'll get Rodgers, so at best they are looking at Russell Wilson |

G Will Fries to Vikings, 5/$88M
Good grief that’s more than Thuney got a few years back. Also, Minnesota is going for it. |
Jeez are the Vikings the only team up right now? LMAO Allen, Fries, and apparently Hargrave soon.
|
No surprise that the most active teams are the ones with cheap drafted QB contracts

Here's some free advice: Post less |
Quote:
Fries was pretty average in Indy in 2023 then got hurt and missed most of last season. He was really good in his short time on the field, but he'd never been that good in the past. There's a lot of projection involved to even get him in the same tier as Smith. I'd say he's no more likely to be a very good OG next year than Kingsley is. I'd be basing that on traits for Kingsley but it's not like Fries has a long track record of premier play in his own right. Honestly, I think we're gonna be lucky to get Smith at 5/$115 at this point. The franchise tag as his AAV would be a small miracle with what the cap is doing. In 3 seasons we might not even be overpaying anymore... |
Eagles and Texans traded CJ Gardner Johnson and Kenyon Green
|
Eagles unloading
|
howies hubris is finally getting the best of him. bro got taken to the cleaners with that one lol.
|
Seems like there are 4 teams making all the moves.
|
Quote:
Eagles have lost CJGJ, Slay, Milton, Sweat, and Rodgers in 24 hours...if only they unloaded them before the super bowl |
Quote:
He also appears to suck very badly. Like, would've been a camp cut by Houston in all probability style of badly. He hasn't done a thing to suggest he's an NFL player. |

I still just can't help but shake my head at how badly we got beat in that game. G'damn it was ugly. |
Eagles are also going to lose Bechton and Goedert. I can't see them going back to the Super Bowl next year. There is no way they can replace all those players in the draft.

It was over right then. We just didn’t know it yet. |

Alot of wishful thinking in this thread
|
Quote:
I mean...I wouldn't go that far. Carter, Baun, Dean, Sweat and Williams all seemed more critical to me. Now that said, they lose 2 of those guys in FA and another may be limited all season next year due to injury. I do think he was probably the most important piece in their secondary but you can also see what they're doing there - just pivoting to a secondary built around DeJean and Mitchell long-term. Similar to what we've done in losing Reid and Sneed the last two years. But yeah - I'm surprised they couldn't get a better return. |
Colts sign Daniel Jones LMAO
1 year 14 million?!? |

Apparently, they are shopping Goedert and only want a 4th. That's enticing with Kelce in his final year. |
Quote:
But then again that 4 is probably our next good CB. |
It’s not the Eagles people should be talking about. It’s the 49ers. They’re about to go through a rebuild.
Want to feel grateful for the Chiefs dynasty? Look at that team. Deebo out the door Aiyuk could be traded, serious injury recovery Williams is 37 Banks gone Hufanga gone Greenlaw gone McCaffrey old and might not be the same Ward gone Warner is almost 30 Kittle is 32 Buckner gone Armstead gone Their last 3 drafts have been pretty terrible aside from finding Purdy. But even he needs pieces to succeed. |
Damn, I see the Saints kept Young. Woulda liked that.
|
Bad feeling Howie is gonna sign Justin Reid. Oh that one will piss me off
|
Quote:
Thought they might push in for one more season but that's obviously not the case. They're gonna be lousy for awhile. The entire NFC West is in decline -- the Rams seem to be the class of that field and Stafford's not getting any younger. Those fans have to absolutely despise us. |
Quote:
Probably has a couple years left, but HoF talents are typically outliers on aging curves -- merely good players often aren't. I'm not sure he has more than another season or two at/near this level in him. A 4th isn't much, but Reid can get production out of his TE if you just give him the clay to work with. I think I'd rather develop the next guy. |
He's also quite injury prone and really isn't as productive as you'd expect him to be.
Averaged 583 yards and 4 TDs a season across 7 years. |
Quote:
Right now we just have Hicks/Cook and maybe Connor if he switches to safety this year. |
And some of you are happy about Mitchell ROFL
The #Chargers deal with RB Najee Harris is 1-year for $5.25M with another $4M available in incentives. |
Najee isn’t that good man. Certainly not a first round talent.
|
Quote:
|
Yeah, are we supposed to be jealous about that? If he sucks it's 5 million down the drain. If he meets incentives it's nearly 10 million. For a dude that's been the JAGgist of JAGs.

So the question is simple, who would you rather have for the next few years: Patrick Mahomes or Daniel Jones? |
Quote:
They’re hoping some competition will bring out the best in him. I mean, you could argue that Jones isn’t the guy to do that because, well, he sucks ass, but that’s what they’re thinking. |
Quote:
|
I’m so happy the Chiefs have a GM that prioritizes youth and not overpaying older players. No idea what the Vikings are doing paying out the ass for Jonathan Allen and now Javon Hargrave. Those contracts will look awful a year from now.
|
Quote:
I haven't seen the terms for Hargrave yet to really judge that one, but I think Allen is a really good deal. |
Quote:
|
Only thing Minnesota might regret is it feels like they’re spending big for the rookie QB within a poor FA class.
Next year you’re still on the rookie deal and you can probably get even better players. But oh well, they’re trying to compete in the best division there is. |
