Pacheco needs a zone blocking setup where he just hits the hole hard.

I don't think KC changed any blocking schemes.

Pacheco just didn't play well after returning.

They did. They altered what worked for Pacheco to Kareem when Pacheco went out.

When Pacheco came back they didn’t switch back.

In any case, I think they are going to draft someone high.

You're going to have to show me that.

But I agree that I think they'll draft a RB.

When Pacheco started the the year the bulk of the plays looked similar to Guz Malzahn run concepts. It was a lot of power concepts where the RB takes the ball and just goes.

Kareem comes in and it looked like more traditional zone stuff.

If you have YouTube you can just fast watch the highlights of every Pacheco run early vs Kareem later to see for yourself.

Wow.

When an entire team changes from front office to coaching staff the first 2 years are going to involve a ton of moves.

Diggs isn’t going to sniff anything close to 15 per

kozzman555 03-08-2025 05:02 AM

rumors floating around that Diggs is way into partying and coke. Can't confirm, only allegations, but if anywhere close to true, there's no way we sign him.

Rainbarrel 03-08-2025 07:25 AM

Rumours of shady shit the Diggs brothers were up to. Says this is one of the few times Clark puts his foot down

RedinTexas 03-08-2025 07:35 AM

We can't have Diggs celebrating an AFC championship in Arrowhead.

Not really. You build Pat a line. That's still the most important thing.

Trenches this draft. He does or doesn't have people to throw to but you still have to keep him standing either way. If he has no one to get open he needs protection even more.

pugsnotdrugs19 03-08-2025 11:10 AM

Bills signed Rousseau now for $80M/4.

Because you definitely want to pay all the guys who already are mentally losers against the Chiefs.

Honestly, find it to be a good thing for us. Sports psychology is a big deal and I feel like the leader ship isn’t factoring it in.

RunKC 03-08-2025 12:26 PM

Glad they got Hollywood back, but the Chiefs need another veteran WR who has started games.

Remember they had Rice, Worthy, Hollywood and Juju and still tried to get Zay Jones. Then they were snooping around Diontae Johnson after acquiring Hopkins.

Clearly wanted a guy with decent size. Wonder if Demarcus Robinson might get a call to be that 1 year fix why a rookie is learning. He was good in LA

So something has to happen with Trey Smith today or tomorrow, right?

Can’t believe they get into the tampering period with that on the books.

That and/or you'll see the Mahomes/Kelce/Jones roster bonuses converted.

Technically they don't have to be cap compliant until 3:00 Central when the new league year starts.

There’s gonna be a lot of teams overpaying massively for mid level players simply because they have the money.

Let them. Get those value signings in here to patch holes on the roster so we can go BPA in the draft

He was pretty meh for the Packers after leaving the Chiefs too. He's only ever been really good in Seattle for whatever reason.

Has anyone seen any smoke about Trey Smith?

I figured a deal was close when they tagged him. Then, I also thought it was coming after the Thuney trade.

Still nothing new though.

Only makes sense if we’re trading Trey.

It all depends on how comfortable they are handing the starting job to in-house options at LG - Kingsley/ Caliendo/ Nourzad etc.

If they weren’t comfortable with their options they could have just restructured Thuney instead of paying free agency prices.

True, maybe they feel they could add a veteran option at a much lower price point than what they were paying Thuney- we’ll see.
