I don't figure we see him until atleast the Denver game. Andy is super conservative with these injuries.
|
They said he "tweaked" his hammy. Not sure what constitutes a tweak for level of severity.
|
It might be in this very thread but I know I read that the injury wasn't considered serious at all

This team isn’t losing another regular season game with or without Toney. His ability can change the outcome of a playoff game, though. Either directly or indirectly, teams will need to prepare for him and out a plus cover guy on him. That’s really all that matters at this point. Hamstring injuries (especially reinjuries) should be taken seriously and I’m pretty sure we won’t see Toney on the field for 2-3 weeks to let it fully heal. I won’t be shocked if he is wearing compression leg wear when he returns to practice/games, too. |
I’d sit him this week. Would be nice to see him vs Cincinnati.
|
Well, who’s happy with the early returns?

So glad we got him! Thank you Veach and NYG! :thumb:

He’s gonna **** people up for the next 3 years with the Chiefs. And Toney and Mecole on the field together in the playoffs…Gorgeous.
|
Looks like a great pickup as long as he can keep the hamstring problems away. Would like to see him making more of an impact in the downfield passing game, but he did join us at mid season.
|
Toney needs to play like Marvin Harrison and give himself up sooner.
He tries to break tackles like he's Derrick Henry. |

He's gonna be a pro bowler if he stays healthy.
He and Pat already have a great connection and they've barely played together. |

Like a bigger Dante Hall.. unfortunately, we will probably have to limit his snaps throughout his career to keep him healthy.

The man is nonsense. Sheer nonsense:

He sorta glides/squeezes through traffic like Charles used to do too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Yeah, but there were also a couple times yesterday I thought for sure he was done and he just ripped himself out of the defenders tackle to keep going.
|
As long as he can keep Injurius Proney at bay, we'll be golden. But can someone please teach him a way to juke that doesn't look like he's tearing every muscle in his legs?
|
They need to put this kid in Yoga classes every day forever. Stretch, son! Stretch them hammys!

He’s electric but I’d prefer he do less fighting through tackles. Many times in the short time he’s been here I’ve noticed him wrapped up, fighting for extra yardage with only one arm securing the football. It’s a recipe for disaster and also makes him more likely to get hurt.
With this offense, that extra yard or two is nearly meaningless. Far more important to stay healthy and maintain possession of the football. 99 times out of 100 the next play is the more important one. |

I seriously can't think of a better consolation prize for losing Reek than this guy, he's every bit as electric in his own way
|
Yeah, there are things I hope the staff work on in the offseason but for now just let him do his thing.

Oh I agree , but once Toney makes his cut and goes he glides through traffic like Jamal did. I don’t know if that is an optical illusion due to their speed, or if they just have a knack for getting their upper body vertical but it’s fun to watch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Calm down young man, use it to get open, then go down. Stretch out your career. |

Man I love this dude. Ain’t no doubt that his health issues are because he puts it all on the line. Even every juke is violent as hell.

Great pickup, especially considering Hardman's injury. LOVE how he played yesterday.

KT is electric. Anytime he gets the ball there's anticipation of something amazing about to happen. Still can't believe the way he came to the team and the solid contribution to the offense he's made. Giants might have had some use for him last night; I wonder how Giants fans feel seeing him make plays for my fav team, the KC Chiefs.
|
I think KT is going to be what they wanted Mecole Hardman to be although MH never quite got there.

This guy...
HOLY SHIT what a mid season pick up |

that return and the whip route td when things looked dark?
veach really traded a 3rd rnd pick for a sb ring |
glad we traded for him!
that return was worth it just for that! But he's gonna do more, maybe not be the 1,000 yard receiver but he's capable of making some freakish plays every once in a while. |

The Giants prevented the Eagles from getting a ring by trading Toney to the Chiefs. Brilliant 4D level chess from the Giants against their division rival. Lol
|
Imagine how dumb the Giants front office must feel for trading Toney?
All he did was come up clutch in the 4th quarter with a receiving TD, and the longest punt return in Super Bowl history. LMAO |
IT'S THE AGE OF KADARIUS
FOR REAL THIS TIME |

He was worth every bit of what we gave up to get him, I would personally like to thank Not-So-Big Blue for being inept enough at the time he traded him to us.

Yeah, but so why is the guy always wearing the Incredibles costume under his jersey literally regardless of temperature or location?
Like, is he missing ears or something? |
