Today is Joe's birthday! Happy Birthday brother! He confided in me the other day about feeling bad when people from the planet came to visit, and due to his current physical state, he really wasn't able to fully enjoy everyone's company. But he's doing much better now ( :) )and extended a invitation to the planet to come up to watch one of the remaining games, like a final mini bash for old time sakes. Bugeater and I are going so let one of us know if you'd like to go and we can figure out which game. Hope everyone had a great Christmas, love on those you care about. |
Happy Birthday, Nzoner you ol' 2$ whore!
And here's to many more: :toast: |

I'll still keep chirping up to the big guy for ya in the mean time brother Joe. If you keep getting better, we keep getting better. |
Such great news!
Happy birthday Joe! sec |

If you guys pick a game let us know. And happy happy birthday Mr. Nzoner |

I am open for any game. We'll leave it up to HayWire |

I talked to the wife about it and she said go for it but I've got a list of "ifs" before I can make it. Don't plan around me. |
Oh, we're planning around you
|
Ok, Joey has decided the Bronco game is the one
|
Quote:
1. First and foremost it will depend on how Nzoner is feeling. 2. How I'm doing (shouldn't be a problem since I've been doing good) 3. Probably the biggest hurdle will be I'll be by myself and the wife said absolutely no to me driving on my own. Not sure if anyone in my area would be interested in going. (I'll buy the gas) 4. Someone has to squeeze my ass if I make it. Long shot in hell, I know. That's why I didn't want to pick the game. |
Where you at? Joplin?
|
I will happily squeeze your ass btw

Probably not a bad idea to start another thread |
Damn, I'm going to the Bronco game and then going to Vegas for the Raiders game. Any chance we could do it for the first playoff game?
|
Well we don't even know for sure when that will be. But I'll come down for it too
|
Hope you had a happy birthday ‘zoner. Glad you’re having some good days.
|
Good to see everyone and hope your Christmas was bright and Merry!!

This is from the new website, please if you feel led to do so make a small donation and God Bless.
https://www.lossofspouse.org/uploads...idth=800&dpr=1 L.O.S.S. On December 8, 2021, Joe Tracy, the founder of L.O.S.S., experienced a pain like he had never experienced before after he lost his wife, Kathy. Joe and Kathy had just celebrated 36 years of marriage together. The following March would find Joe in a deep grief and in prayer to God to help lead him through this journey of grief. Joe didn’t realize, in what Romans 8:28 promises: "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Joe was introduced to a local grief program, and he devoted his time to the class and the workbook that was provided. Later that summer, Joe got an idea to host a Widow and Widower picnic. Joe and Kathy had been blessed with a large piece of land with a large home and office building which was a perfect location. The picnic was a success and the dream God had given Joe to create a retreat for Widows and Widowers was born. These dreams included picnics, Holiday dinners, game nights, bonfires, Bible studies, and other events to host any Widow or Widower. Meanwhile, Joe has since been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is on hospice. Thanks to his family and friends, who share his vision, L.O.S.S. is moving along at great speed. Your prayers and donations are much needed as the ministry grows. God willing, we can all see Joe’s vision of L.O.S.S. become a reality and help other Widow and Widower‘s along the lonely journey of adapting to being without their spouse. |

He's having trouble eating, so please say a prayer. He also wanted me to mention that Kathy had a huge Jimmy Johnson collection, and if there were any Nascar fans interested, he would donate the money to the Ministry. God bless, hope this finds you and Kip well. |

Just noticed this sorry to hear about it. I don’t get on here very much anymore but I remember nzoner from when I did. Prayers for you, get well.
|
Is there any way to post the website in the OP. I'm helping some folks who are not tech savvy use tax software so they can do their taxes this weekend. Told them I'd do it if they'd donate an amount of their choice to this charity.
