Waino has probably been one of if not our best pitcher this year.

Why not, he is still pitching way better than some of our other pitchers. One last run with Waino/Molina in 2022. Molina says its his last year. Let him have his farewell tour. Herrera should be ready to replace Molina in 2023.

Padres are toast. Down to the Cardinals and Reds. Unfortunately the Reds play the Pirates like 10 more times this year, so the Cardinals are going to have to keep winning.

They definitely will earn it with so many games against that Brewers staff. I just have to not watch, every time they pull me back in and they go on a little run, I watch and they blow a multi run 9th inning lead. :)

The Reds definitely have the easiest remaining schedule with 7 against the Pirates and 4 against the Nationals.

Haven’t been paying attention. Saw some headlines about blowing big leads in the bottom of the 9th. Then I see they took over the lead for the final WC spot. Now won 7/8. 1.5 game lead for the final WC spot.

Maybe Waino can give us his best performance ever. Flaherty can give us one to two innings. And a lot of luck, beat LA in a one game only scenario.

Both teams floundered around and way underperformed to their talent level until Sept. and then played lights out.

Red Birds with a very nice win tonight. Still have a long way to go with a gauntlet schedule remaining.

Oh that could definitely happen, but there is no way we beat the Dodgers in 7. In one game you can beat anyone. Our path to a run would be for the Giants to hang on and edge out the Dodgers, but just close enough that the Dodgers have to throw Scherzer to have try to catch them.

We somehow get Kershaw then who knows. You could almost feel his throat contracting at the thought of seeing us in a one game scenario.

Braves, Brewers and the Giants we could beat if we stay hot. The defense has been outstanding which has helped the pitchers who pitch to contact, our hitters are loose and right now we have 3 legit middle of the order bats with guys doing the right things around them.

I guess anything could happen. I sure as hell didn't see them winning so much as a postgame series in 2006, let alone the whole thing.

And I'll continue to do my part by not watching, because if I watch, they lose.
