It’s the chiefs and the playoffs

Shit I was worried they’d lose during the bye week

They aren’t even good enough to have an original mascot. You guys are actually the third team to own that name.

And this is exactly right. Come playoff time we’ve been conditioned for failure year in and out. THAT WAS THEN AND THIS IS NOW. Have some faith people, we have the best QB in football who had nothing to do with those historical failures. And if it hadn’t been for a certain defender who won’t be named, we’d have been in the SB Mahomes first year as starter. R-E-L-A-X

Pablo 01-05-2020 10:52 AM

How could any Texans fan watch that 5 quarter abortion against the punch-less Bills and feel confident going into next week??

You won. Congrats. You just earned yourselves a vicious ass whopping and five more seasons of BOB.

Mikulik 01-05-2020 10:54 AM

Actually Lamar Jackson is the best QB in the league. Don't get ahead of yourself.

They’re a different offense without Fuller

The Texans are the only team to make Denver look good this season. I mean, you managed to make them look REALLY good.

Going in dry.

Haha haha

If Goodell called you and said you can have Mahomes or Jackson on your franchise right now, you’re either taking Mahomes or you’re a slobbering moron.

493rd 01-05-2020 10:56 AM

Have the Texans won a road playoff game before?

tmax63 01-05-2020 10:56 AM

I think Suggs will be a big help this game. Jones and Suggs wasn't there first time around. Suggs is a smart veteran DE that won't lose containment and let Watson scramble around while Clark and Jones clean up. Fuller isn't 100% coming off a groin injury, but when it's do or die all hands are on deck. I don't think their WR are any better than the Chargers or a few other teams we've faced.

Mikulik 01-05-2020 10:59 AM

You sure are cocky for not having won a SB since 1970.Don't you eventually crawl back in your home and start crying and say wait until next year only to be disappointed again

How many SBs has Houston won again? Oh right......

Should we relive the 1993 post-season again? Yap all you want about how long it's been for the Chiefs, but someone who supports a team who's never won one in their franchise's history has no room to talk.

Mikulik 01-05-2020 11:04 AM

So do the Chiefs! How many Super bowls have you won? The answer is one. WOW that's impressive! Lmao!

RollChiefsRoll 01-05-2020 11:06 AM

Houston sports are a goddamn joke. Outside of some recent cheating-fueled wins for the Astros, that city hasn’t won jack shit since Hakeem Olajuwon (and really, who gives a damn about the NBA?).

Let’s see how the Texans match up against Hill, Watkins, Kelce, Hardman, and Robinson in the passing game. Barring injury or an absolute shit show from the O line, I’m not sure how they hold us under 30.

They won't. The only way the Chiefs lose this game is if they come out flat in the trenches. If Mahomes gets time, it's over.

They sure did won it. Patriots style with lots of cheating.

KC teams always take Houston squads to the woodshed when it matters. It's just how it is. Better teams, better people, better city all around.

First rule to winning playoff games is stop teams on first down. Place them in longer downs and you will have more chances.
Gotta take Hopkins out of his game.

Yes, the team that needed a fumble recovery inside the ten to score 31 against the defense minus its best LB, star DT, and two big additions to the DL (Suggs and Mike Pennel) is now going to score 40.

You’re bad at this.

It's the playoffs and anything could happen, BUT I am not worried in the least about the Texans. Their achilles heel is their o-line and our vastly improved defense and pass rush will make sure Watson is not only inaccurate passing but no allow him to successfully scramble or pass on the run either.

The psychological warfare beauty about our defense vastly improving the 2nd half of the season is, is that our opponents really don't believe we are that good now or improved 'that much' because we are still the CHEFS of the previous 5 Sutton years and especially this first half of this season still being the CHEFS on defense "in their mind". They are STILL NOT BUYING IT and you can see it with their lack of game planning for us.;)

kysirsoze 01-05-2020 11:51 AM

The good thing about this game is if we lose we don't have to worry about what ifs. We lose to the Texans at home in the playoffs and this whole thing was a mirage. That said this game will be over early third quarter.

FAX 01-05-2020 11:54 AM

I'm merely hoping that the Texans will dial down the personal fouls and late hits.

Other than that, I'm expecting a good game and a dominating victory.

Enjoy this off-season. Next year you enter into hell under O’Brien. A couple of huge contracts and no high draft picks coupled with a coach/GM clearly in over his head = a lost decade. Trust me, we’ve been there and survived. It sucks though.

Predictions:

Texans finish the game with 100 fewer rushing yards than last time.

1 pick and 1 fumble for Watson. 0 turnovers for KC.

Mahomes: 300 yds, 3 TDs. 100 yards for Hill.

KC 35, Oilers 16.

The Franchise 01-05-2020 12:43 PM

Will Fuller being back for the Texans is a big gain for them. They’d better be careful though because his groin injury can flare up with just one small tweak.
