The biggest obstacle this team has, and has always had, is Andy. Hes the biggest double edge sword coach ever. Denver is garbage. The ONLY shot they have is for Andy to pull the mother of all Andys and completely shit his pants on the sideline. The guy is great with Qbs, but his inability to get out of his own way in the biggest moments, thats why he does not have multiple superbowl rings. Whether its time managenent, playcalling with a lead, i mean dude has to own the record for most blown leads, along with 2 of the most legendary playoff collapses in nfl history, or whether its keeping guys around like Ol buddy Bob Sutton who he knew wasn't getting it done and contributed to those legendary collapses. This TEAM has the talent to win it all. We had it last year. Does the coach? I'll believe that when i see it. |
Spags was deceiving Brady all night last weekend. Hard to think a rookie is ready mentally for what a 42 year QB that’s seen everything could not beat.

There's no doubt this game could turn into another beatdown, I just think it will be close (20-24, or similar - roughly the same margin of victory w/ a TD or less).
Flacco was misreable in the last game. KC got a fumble recovery for a TD, but only scored 3 TDs in 12 drives (had 13, but clock expired). KC scored 13 points in their first three drives, one of 8 plays and another of 13 plays. After that, early in the 2nd quarter, KC only had 1 drive with 7 or more plays and they punted on that one. So, first 3 were scores and then punt, end of half, punt, punt, TD, punt, punt, FG, punt. Yes, I know that Pat was hurt, left and Moore played most of that game. Denver had a 10 play drive for a TD to open up the game and went downhill from there. They played like that for the most part with Flacco, but with Allen and now Lock - they've played differently and better on offense early. And, with Sanders in SF - guys have now had several games to figure out where they fit in that offense with Sutton. Fant, Heuerman, Hamilton, Patrick, Beck, Lindsay and Freeman are putting together some nice games over the last month. The key is still their defense - if they can play well, it limits the hero that Lock has to be - if he has to air it out, then they're likely up Schitts Creek. Very tall order and an unrealistic and wild expectation to think Denver can walk in and win - I'm just looking for them to be competitive and play a tight game. Do that and I'll be happy. This team is nowhere near where they need to be, but the last two weeks have been good to see considering the start. KC will win, there's no doubt in my mind... I just think Denver is going to play much better than most expect. |

Coming off the win in NE, the place should be rocking. If the d plays the way they have been, could be a fun game

Oh shit. Didn’t realize Lock dated Clark’s daughter. Mr. Hunt will send the executive order to Andy to murder this kid.
Can’t have him banging his daughter and beating his team in his house |

Some of you guys are really negative Nancys.
We just beat the Patriots in their house, and only allowed them to score 16 points. Are there really Chiefs fans on here that seriously think that the Denver Broncos are a more dangerous team than the Patriots? That Drew Lock is a better QB than Tom Brady? That Vic Fangio is going to produce a better defense than Bill Belichick? That the DEN OL that allowed us to sack Flacco 8 times is going to miraculously stymie our pass rush? And didn't we crush DEN back in week 6 or whatever with a HS football coach, 30-6? Are we really thinking that our defense that held their running attack to 71 yards, Pat and a healthy OL can't do better than Matt Moore and a patch-work OL? You guys are hilariously delusional. |

Chiefs will likely defeat Denver.
Your Chiefs seem too hungry to fall for a trap game against a team in your division. Especially with 2nd seed still in reach. |
Gracie Hunt’s Ex-Boyfriend Is Drew Lock. Interesting tid bit I never knew about or really cared to know about.
|
Snow is an advantage for the offense, even more so for one that uses space like ours. Defenders don’t be able to react. Less running the ball also reduces the number of hands reaching for a potentially slippery ball.
|
Since the Denver awakening game on defense, they’ve allowed an average of 102 rushing YPG. That would rank 12th in the league currently.
That’s with the one awful game in Tennessee taking that average way up. Aside from that one flop, we’ve given up 82 YPG which would be 3rd in the league. That’s okay though. Every good team has a flop game. Pats defense got their assholes waxed in Baltimore. It happens. Bottomline is this defense has shifted to a consistent top 10 caliber rush defense. |

All I want is for Lock to look good enough to satiate Elways's ego....
In fairness...Lock putting up 38 in his first legit start is impressive..probably good enough to battle Carr for a WC birth every year. |

I thought he dated Sophie Cunningham at Mizzou? |

They dated during their senior years. Didn’t survive them getting drafted. Sophie is probably the only girl at Mizzou who thought she was dating Lock who actually WAS dating Lock. The dude ****s. |

Let's talk about the Broncos

He definitely likes blondes. |
I'm a Mizzou guy and watched Lock for 4 years. Love the dude, but never believed for a second he'd be anything more than average at best in the NFL. He's got an arm and can look elite at times, but goddamn if he wasn't completely lost for games in a row as well. Not sure who I'd say had a better arm between him and Gabbert...both can rip it. I genuinely just really like Drew Lock and the fact he's a local kid only helps.
That being said, my Lock allegiance ended the day he went to Denver. Lock was awful under pressure and made some ridiculously bone-headed plays throughout his career. I always thought he lacked the pocket presence to succeed in the NFL. I'm pleasantly surprised to see his career start off nice and with a little success. But I'm also ready for us to throw the ****ing book at him with blitzes and stunts and see him wilt this Sunday. Would love nothing more than a Ryan Leaf like performance (pretty sure it was his 3rd career start as well) to welcome him back to KC. |
We need Gracie to come to Denver and steal all his "mojo" until he can't even crawl out bed to get on the plane to come to KC. If she has enlist his current "slampiece" as loochy called her, then by all means do so and post the video here.

Lock > Gabbert |
You do the same shit we did against the Pats....except more of a spy on Lock because he isn’t a 42 immobile QB. Sell out to stop the run, disguise blitzes and coverages and make them beat you deep.
|
Quote:
And maybe I'm too hard on Lock about handling pressure. It's quite possible I remember more of his bad plays under duress due to recency bias. Either way, I hope he gets a taste of failure come Sunday. |

No Clark, Fenton, or Claiborne at practice again today.
Starting to assume personally that we won’t have any of them on Sunday. Just hopeful that Clark is ok for the long run. We can beat the Donks without him, albeit much easier with him.. |

I see Fangio wants the league to go to no division format. I can’t blame home considering how many times in a row KC has beaten them. Sounds like the easy way out to me.
|
Hmmm...hot girlfriend, likeable non-douchey personality...he's not supposed to be playing for the Donks...
|
Lock looks OK but these receivers are so wide open, and there is so little pressure on him, I'm not that impressed.
The one deep throw under pressure into a tight window was very nice, however, as was the first TD into an even tighter hole. <iframe width="1280" height="720" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/quuWl4wsRY4" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
