I wouldn't do it, but they are short on RBs. He could handle 4 or 5 carries.

Or get 10 carries for 15 yards and get hurt. Nobody cares about rushing titles. I doubt anyone can remember who won it last year without Googling it.

Yep. Brady isn't winning a SB with the Browns. You need your QB to step up in the playoffs and be one of your best players more often than not. AFC representative shows it every year. Ravens don't win the SB if Flacco doesn't play the best stretch of his life, even as good as they were(and the most hilarious comeback against Denver).

Things are never as black and white as people want it to be. Politics, football....life. It is easier to think when it's black and white though.

Brady to Josh Gordon and Corey Coleman?!! With the Crowell-Duke Johnson Jr. combo?

Yeah, I think Brady would be capable of winning a Super Bowl with the Browns, homeslice...

Hey man, I hit fantasy football HARD.... of course I know who wins the rushing titles. Ezekiel Elliott just won last year. It'd be crazy if rookies did it in back to back years!!! Let's make history!!! Let's get Kareem Hunt a rushing title for Ezekiel!!!

This is going be like playing for Texas Tech for Patrick Mahomes II Chiefs debut.

Shit team all on his shoulders.

NJChiefsFan 12-31-2017 02:22 PM

The RB position is one where just because you don't get injured for the next game doesn't mean you didn't suffer physically. With all the hard carries Hunt has gotten he is at the top of the list as far as guys I would prefer sat today.

pugsnotdrugs19 12-31-2017 02:25 PM

I haven't done this all week but I'll go ahead and dish out a prediction...

Chiefs 21, Broncos 17

Mahomes: 24/35, 268 yards, 1 TD pass, 1 TD run, 1 INT.

Sounds reasonable.

How many Denver cheap shots?

It has a chance to be an all time day for CP. A great showing and we'll surely see calls for him to start the playoff game.

If he bombs and throws 3 picks, we'll see threads asking if we should draft a QB in the draft this year just to be safe. Everything is on the table today.

As some have already pointed out, no conclusions should be jumped to based on today... not having any star weapons out there should immediately temper expectations.

RunKC 12-31-2017 02:35 PM

Mahomes looked really good against LSU in college with an overwhelming disparity in talent going against him.
Mahomes looked really good against the Bengals starters and half of Seattle’s starters with backups in preseason.

I think he can look good again today with mostly backups.

I agree with your first statement, but not your second.

He's has/had the luxury of learning all this year and until the start of next season. His weaknesses can be coached up.

I think he will be fine...way too much being put into this game.

I would agree, but almost two decades of posting on CP leads me to believe there's a 0% chance of that happening. It's going to be a fun day.

pugsnotdrugs19 12-31-2017 02:40 PM

If we keep up with the first play traditions i.e. Buttker, Hunt--missed first kick, fumble first run.

PM throws an INT in his first pass. Then goes 23/24 for 350 yards and 3 TD's
