Disney sucks. I'll never get their stupid streaming service.

This is it right here. Disney cancelling all these shows on Netflix so they can roll it all to their own streaming service.

Jackasses.

It's all to get titles back for their streaming service, if they don't bring Daredevil back with the same cast then I'll call them assholes. Other than that they're just switching networks and forcing you to buy into their network instead of good ole reliable Netflix.

Yea, Disney has enough property that if they hoard all of it they can crush the other services, so they want to do that.

And considering that I have three kids that all love Disney, as well as my wife and I, we'll probably end up purchasing that streaming service as soon as it becomes available.

To my knowledge, Disney didn't do this, Netflix did. Maybe I'm wrong.

Right now it is pretty easy to "cut the cord" and still get a lot of great content. It won't be long and you will have to have 25 different streaming services just to watch what you want.

It's a mix, Disney basically played hardball on anything Netflix wanted to do like they weren't going to give them any more characters, if they wanted to shorten the season like from 13 to 8 or something Disney could easily say no cause it means less money.

Netflix is a big enough entity to not need Disney so it was basically a lot of dick waving on both sides.

Oh well . Got 3 good seasons out of DD. I esp loved the prison riot episode in season 3 (all done on one take btw!) .

Also , I will NOT be giving Mickey Mouse any money on their streaming service . I'll stick to Netflix & Amazon Prime.

Its why Netflix has been ramping up their original content for the past several years. They saw the writing on the wall years ago.

Warner Brother is starting their own streaming server soon too.

Think about how large their library and back catalog is.

It's going to end up way too complex and expensive.

The market will become over saturated and then collapse. It is the way of things.

The cream always rises.

I thought Netflix owned the rights to continue to make series in the MCU for those already broadcast? How can Disney cancel?

Netflix cancelled it, not Disney. It had less viewers than everyone thought.

4th most watched show had less viewers than we all thought?

Disney likely had poison pills in there, or the ability to meddle so much it became too hard to do.

That would certainly seem the most likely out come.

Netflix doesn’t release the most watched shows as far as I can tell. This is the closest to them releasing numberts. The articles claiming it is the 4th most watched show are speculating.

Love to see it but at minimum Disney has to wait 2 years to use the property. I would hope the actors would be free by then but I assume the only way Disney beings then back would be on Hulu but at the same time they wouldn't have access to previous seasons. Seems hopeless.

This is good news:

The Man Without Fear is coming back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“Daredevil: Born Again” was announced at Marvel’s San Diego Comic Con panel by Kevin Feige. It’s set to release in Spring 2024 with an 18-episode season.

Daredevil also showed up at the end of the “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” trailer that debuted during the panel.

Cox’s Daredevil made his way back into the MCU in last year’s “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” in which he had a cameo role as his alter-ego Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer who fights crime outside of his office hours. Variety exclusively reported in May that a solo “Daredevil” series was moving forward at Disney Plus, with Matt Corman and Chris Ord are attached to write and executive produce.

YES. I loved it. Hopefully Disney doesn't douche it all up.

They also need to make sure they grab the fight choreographers, those fight scenes were really ****ing good.

They have been on point since the Mandolrian except for a few missteps. The fight choreography was definitely top notch. :thumb:

As it should be. This should make the other series canon as well from the Defenders tie in. At the very least Punisher has to be, and that excites me.

I ****ING LOVE Punisher and Daredevil Netflix shows. When DD got into their super weird ninja stuff, it got worse but the first season and half of DD was awesome.

Everything Punisher ****ing ruled.

But none of it works without the violence and good choreography. Do you hear me Disney? Get the ****ing fights right. (I'm interested to see how Echo is)

Of all the characters out there to choose from, the Punisher is my favorite (I actually have the logo as my phone background right now). I realize that in the comics most - if not all - hero’s have gone through some dark stages over the years but, the overall idea is that the creators typically try to make them “clean” with no killing rules and such. The Punisher doesn’t bother trying to tip toe around hypocritical moral lines; if you are going to break the law and become a vigilante then don’t half ass it, go all the way or go the **** home.

The first season of Jessica Jones was really great as well. David Tennant as Killgrave/Purple Man was so great but also honestly still haunting to me. When he was the voice of the droid in Ahsoka, I could still hear him shouting "Jessica!" anytime the droid spoke.

I also really liked Luke Cage as well. Not as much as the others but I thought it was a good show especially with Mahershala Ali as Cottonmouth. He was great as the villian until he left the show.

Looks like they're at least smart enough to get the band all the way back together.

I enjoyed the Jessica Jones show. I thought the second season bogged down a bit, but that first season was pretty entertaining. I would have kept watching it.

Punisher is the best bit. I mean the mouse can **** it up hard, but I love Bernthal and I'll watch what he's in full stop.

Bernthal is the ideal Punisher. Fits the character to a ****ing tee. Perfect angry anti-hero badass. This makes me very happy. I've rewatched the Punisher series twice, and it's hands down the best of the Marvel Netflix series. Hoping he has a decent role in this.

In. Hopefully they kept the same fight choreographers as the first 2 because those were incredible. And violent. I think I saw a dudes bone sticking out of his arm, so that bodes well.

You'd think this was s4 coming to Netflix. Very excited and hope it's good

This is the best stuff Marvel has put out since No Way Home. Gritty, dark, and violent.

just finished the netflix series (yeah, imma bit behind). can't wait to start this.

The opening for episode 1 is one of the most intense scenes I've ever watched. ****ing brutal.

This show is really good. I'm surprised people aren't talking about it more.

I feel they did a good job with this season considering the reshoots and rewrites that needed to happen after the untimely death of Kamar de los Reyes, but you could feel the show becoming a bit disjointed as the season went along. I still enjoyed it, and I'm glad they're already working on season 2, but the pacing definitely changed after White Tiger was killed. The finale felt.....incomplete, somehow. Total setup for the next season which is fine taking into consideration what they dealt with, as I said. I'm looking forward to it; the actors sell this show as well as any other D+ Marvel effort out there.

It seemed really sloppy for him to get caught how he did. Also shouldn't Matt have known he was there?

Overall I really liked the season. I love Matt and Frank's dynamic.

MCU needs more Frank Castle.

I liked the season, but I agree that the finale felt a little incomplete. I'm not sure why though, because it makes sense from a story perspective. It begins with Matt and Fisk both trying to be something they're not, and ends with them on a collision course, having embraced who they really are. Maybe it's too much conclusion, it makes the season feel like a prelude to what they're doing in season two.

Also a minor complaint, I thought the gore in the finale crossed over into cartoonishness. Blood was exploding out of people like they were in Mortal Kombat.
