He sounds like a Batman villain, me likey

I was thinking that we're about to see a Lott of Norman conquest along the line.

Bit of a stretch though.

Plus, the Chiefs were picking at end of 2nd round. Sometimes you have to treat end of the rounds as a beginning of a new round.

Maybe he got home 19% because he was well rested. I'd rather have that percentage from a starter.

I get it. I just hope we find some sleepers in the 5th and 7th rounds like we did with Trey Smith or Jaylon Watson. Hard to get excited about a rotational guy at the end of the second round. We have had plenty of rotational guys that have been pretty good, but only Wharton blossomed into someone who was a talented starter. I hope I am wrong and he turns out to be the next Chris Jones.

lol imagine thinking you can be picky with a PRWR that good. At the bottom of the 2nd no less.

Wharton was a fine player, but he didn't do well much in terms of winning his pass rush. Wharton was only a 10.5% and he was considered a rotational guy as well. I think the Chiefs got an upgrade in all aspects with a younger player at a better value than Wharton got on his contract at a new team.

Haven’t watched a down, but has a build like Breeland Speaks.

Anyway

The Chiefs lost the Super Bowl.

If Veach doesn't pick their favorite player we're DOOMED.

Some salty vets on here too.

staylor26 04-25-2025 08:56 PM

I really hope they let this guy play next to Jones right away on passing downs. It will absolutely be a problem.

booger 04-25-2025 09:10 PM

Both these two new DL fit great with the loop stunt twist game that they run. Different size and styles playing pick n roll or more like pick and smack. Fun highlights on this guy

Good thing we're not going to ask this guy to be an edge rusher in a 3-4 defense!

Dumbass.

BWillie 04-25-2025 11:27 PM

Know absolutely nothing about him. I don’t really watch college football. I did see that he's only ever started 5 games in his life. Why?
