What's the best case scenario for a fractured ankle?

Sounds like 6-8 weeks, but I don't think we've ruled out soft tissue damage.

ProFootballDoc is saying this is almost assuredly season-ending.

Super bummed for the kid, hope he can come back next year and earn a nice payday from some team in 2026.

It's next man up. Truly no better position group that we are better at developing. Just please, enough of these season-enders.

A little hesitant to fully buy in on Gelb just yet since he’s the only one I have seen float this but, if he’s right, maybe it’s an 8 week deal?

Could be back for the end of the RS, granted you still need someone to step up.

We will see if it is the next man up. There has to be a limit tho?

No he said depending on severity he could be back by playoffs so why you're putting a negative spin on it is weird. All fractures aren't one and the same hence why Adam Schefter also said they are looking at images to determine a timeframe. A minor fracture could see him return within 6-8 weeks.

Yes. So hard to 3-Peat. Just one more reason why. But IN SPAGS WE TRUST!

So you're saying he could be incontinent but still play? I'll take it!

Dante84 10-21-2024 11:28 AM

Sounds like the Cook injury but less severe

He said "late playoffs" in the post I saw, which if that's the case, you can't count on him to be as good as the other guys for a few weeks after return anyhow.

Just stop being a negative spin artist fgs and let's wait until they get further confirmation. Dr Chao isn't dealing with Watson so what he says really doesn't matter

Seems like every week we have to sacrifice a player to get a W.

Pasta Little Brioni 10-21-2024 12:10 PM

I'd be shocked if he plays this year unfortunately
