Q has a bizarre thing for trying to squeeze out extra outs when the starter is clearly done and out of gas. Is pulling him 1-2 batters early really changing our entire bullpen dynamic? No. The runs given up are far worse than putting in a reliever slightly early. This has backfired like 5 times in the last month.

I'll never understand people begging to go to this bullpen.

Because the bullpen is in fact better than a pitcher who doesn't have it running on fumes? And how exactly does it make our bullpen better to wait until several runners are on before bringing them in? Would that make them better somehow?
