Hey boys, first time posting. Im a Lions fan coming from Calgary, Alberta, Canada to see my first game at Arrowhead. I couldn’t be more stoked to see the Lions play in the opening game of the season, but also excited to see the Chiefs celebrate a big SB win. While I bleed blue, I’ve enjoyed the Chiefs regularly over the years. My question is, for a Canadian who is visiting KC for the first time, any ideas for a guy like me? I’m thinking of going to the Royals game the night before and tailgating the morning of.

PS. I’m not sure how many Lions fans will be in the crowd, so I’m probably going to stick out like a sore thumb.

First time in KC, eh?

How many loonies per beer at Arrowhead, eh?

If you tailgate, get a 2-4 to bring.

At least you won't have to deal with a Chinook this time of year.

I hope you enjoy your time, out and about!

I hope you have a great time other than the crushing demoralization of a big loss.

I'm a 50-year Chiefs fan who has never lived in Kansas City, so I can't provide great advice. But I've enjoyed visiting the art museum in the past, and I would also recommend eating six barbecue meals per day, each one at a different restaurant. Other than that, I've heard people say good things about the WWI Museum in town if you're not vulnerable to trenchfoot.

Wouldn’t it be “oot and aboot?” Haha. Yeah I figured bringing a case of beer could do the trick. I’ve heard great things so it should be good.

Where’s the best place to go after the game? Any good spots downtown?

Cool air in the morning, possibility of smelling a fireplace, someone on Chiefsplanet being overly nervous about a game.

Football season is upon us.

Get BBQ, check out the Negro Leagues Museum, the WW1 museum, and lucky for you, Royals tickets won't be expensive at all.

It is always interesting reading the thoughts of fans of teams that don't play the Chiefs very often, specifically regarding Travis Kelce.

There's always a lot of optimism that "Player X" can handle him/limit him with safety help over the top.

Good luck with that.

2 more sleeps!! LFG!!

For the Canuck:
