Does your town only have one beer distributor?

I effectively only have one broadband provider...

Legally, DTV has a monopoly on Sunday Ticket at the moment which will be bestowed to a new monopoly.

So yea, I'm in favor of getting the pitchforks out. Corporations do not have any natural born rights that can't be taken away by citizens representatives...

It's going to Youtube TV anyway. Does that start next year or in 2030

YouTube is not immune to fights over licenseing fees for local broadcast of things like Fox and CBS, which is separate from ST.

If this isn’t about Patrick Mahomes or his ankle … STFU

This would be frustrating however...

Watching games called in Spanish is pretty fun.

That be much better than listening to Chris Collinsworthless.

Isnt it amazing with all the technology today-we have to default to Antennas.

Even though in live in town-I wish I still had the big one from the old house.

Sold it for 10 on Craigslist becuase the new owners didnt want it.

They still sell them. And the rest of the stuff you need to put one up too.

I may do that after we make a decision on DTV. Biggest issue is mounting.
If they come and take the dish and leave the post, I can mount it there. But it is on the west side of the house and the transmitters are to the ENE. They are only about 10 mi max away. Should not need anything big here.

The guy across the street has an exterior antenna. That is better than climbing in the attic and running a cord through the tube to the basement.

OK-I worked at radio shack..

DTV, Dish, and every other cable company are the same, they're all going to have contract disputes with TV companies. The local stations here in KC are owned by large media companies. KMBC is owned by Hearst, KCTV is owned by Gray, KSHB is a Scripps station, and WDAF is Nexstar.

If you are within 75 miles of the over the air station, a $30 amped indoor antenna will let you get the games for free.

You have way more patience than I do in giving those dicks hard earned money. Especially money that was earned the hard way.

But yeah, I'd go the digital antenna route.

Maybe I'll send him an AOL disk so he can do a dial up.

Might be just a little buffering issues........
