CB Kelvin Joseph, Kentucky - athletic profile of a day 1 pick but maturity issues and what happened at LSU push him down.

OG Trey Smith, Tennessee - probably a day 1 pick if not for his blood clot issues 2 years ago which teams may not feel comfortable with.

The good thing is that a lot of those guys you listed are tackles, at least in name. Like I said in my other post, the lack of tackles in the 1st round and so many tackles dropping into the 2nd really improves our chances of a good IOL prospect falling into our laps.

Because he took a ton of snaps as a nickel safety, he's like Dorian O'Daniel he's listed at LB he's the size of a LB but all of his tape is him basically being a safety, that creates questions.

The Chiefs haven’t heavily invested in corner through the draft, so what do you mean by “another”?

We have no NB and Ward is a free agent next year. Anybody that doesn’t think corner is a need isn’t paying attention.

He's fast enough to play nickel safety though.

After next year, we have two corners that have shown they can actually play in the NFL - Sneed and Fenton. Keyes is a complete unknown.

Baker is on a 1-year deal and will be a RFA. Ward will be an UFA and may be too pricey to bring back.

We have a real need for cheap talent at CB. So yeah, they'd be wise to draft another corner.
