At a gut level, I can't root for the Chargers. Ever. I can't even explain it in words.

But just the thought of Rivers' face triggers a tsunami of animosity. And animosity may not be a strong enough word. Repugnance doesn't seem to capture it well enough. Whatever. He's on my sh*t list.

On the other hand, I've always been a Jon Gruden fan, even when he was hired to be the Raiders coach, I wanted only the best for him. So in spite of my innate hatred for the Raiders, it doesn't run as deep as my utter contempt for the Chargers, so it's 'Go Raiders," I guess this week.

Chargers already have 5 losses.

We want them to win.

We still play the Chargers twice. I would much rather them have given up on their season vs. coming in on a whatever game winning streak like they did last year.

I don't care about the Raiders at all.

This is very easy. We’ve already beaten the Raiders. The Chargers are a better team, and more of a threat down the stretch. You must root for the Faders on Thursday.
