If you use the GPS on your phone then you are potentially being tracked. If you use an Easy Pass then you are being tracked. IIRC a man's Easy Pass records were used against him in a divorce case. Using a credit card tracks you. If you are not using a VPN to web browse you are being tracked. Ever see a targeted ad while web browsing? There are so many ways 'Big Brother' can keep tabs on you that it isn't funny. Singling out Alexa and Google Home (or whatever it's called) is silly.

Want to have any level or anonymity or privacy? Throw away all of your electronic devices and use cash only. Move to Mexico and live off the grid with Jesse Ventura.

If you're talking on the phone, it's likely being monitored or recorded. If you're walking on the street minding your own business, with no electronic devices AT ALL, it's highly possible you're being recorded.

I gave up on "privacy" a long time ago. There isn't any such thing. It's a myth.
